Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Out of curiousity, Porter, who do you think the Bears should take?
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Like I said, they should either take Posluzny or David Harris just in case Briggs can't play, or I would be okay taking an offensive lineman to take some pressure off Rex Grossman. Then in round 2, I'd have them take a WR since Muhammad is getting up there in the years or Brian Leonard for an added weapon out of the backfield, if he's there. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 The Bears better take all of 2 seconds for their pick if they have already decideded on Olsen.
Guest Richard McBeef Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Hey, Bears are finally on the clock. Meanwhile, Cubs are up 7-0 in St. Louis, so that's neat. I trust Jerry Angelo here.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Come on, Olsen already put on the freaking hat. Make the pick
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Another reason why I didn't want Olsen, he's a Rosenhaus client. Yay for Chicago.
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 A perfect example of why 15 minutes is way too long for picks as teams are just dicking around half the time.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I know. I'm just frustrated with both the fact that they will be picking Olsen (who I find overrated, watching plenty of Miami games) and the fact they are taking forever to announce it.

yankovic fan 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Boo on Meachum. No doubt he's talented, but the Saints need defense!!! Â Then again Payton likes to run up the score. At least he's an offensive minded coach making offensive decisions where as Haslett was a defensive minded coach and did pretty miserable :-\ Â With Colston, Henderson, Lewis, and now Meachum as receivers, I guess this means we'll be running a lot of 3 and four receiver sets, especially with Bush in the mix on top of our tight ends. I really hope the rest of the picks are defense though.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Odd pick for the Colts. Gonzalez is underrated on the boards, for sure, though.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Odd pick for the Colts. Gonzalez is underrated on the boards, for sure, though. Â You'd think they could find a slot receiver in the 2nd round though. They need a linebacker to replace Cato June, tackles to stop the run, and a corner to replace Harper and David. Instead they take a 3rd WR? That's just...weird. Unless they think Marvin Harrison is done in a year or two.
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Yup, NFL Network again this year is going to completely ignore everything after the 1st Round.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Yup, NFL Network again this year is going to completely ignore everything after the 1st Round. Â What the hell is wrong with them. I loved the first round analysis, but skipping the rest is just dumb. People who watch the damn draft aren't only interested in the first round, it's die hard fans who want to see the whole thing and hear analysis on the 2nd/3rd round players. Ugh. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Yup, NFL Network again this year is going to completely ignore everything after the 1st Round. Â I really hate that mess. How many times can you really analyze the way Russell throws the ball? Or the way Peterson finds cutback lanes? I mean god damn, the second and third round actually can produce some very good NFL talent guys.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Did the Eagles really just take a QB? What the hell, what about McNabb? Who drafts a backup QB with their first pick in the draft?
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I don't get it, either... Â NFL Network has to know the diehards are watching their coverage. And I'm sure at least Mayock knows enough about the lesser players to mention them more.

USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 It's not that the Eagles took a QB that baffles me, its that they took KEVIN KOLB. The Eagles did need a QB for when McNabb has his annual injury.
Der Kommissar 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I am really happy that ESPN decided to show a close up of Eagles' fans for that pick. Their reaction was priceless.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 It is pretty good when the reaction gets past the point of pissed and they couldn't even muster up the boos. Â They have to trade Holcomb now, so maybe they can get a 4th to recoup a bit. But everyone knows they'll have to release him so they might not even get that. You'll have to hope for an injury to Losman or something.
