Lance Storm, Test, & Christian beat Rob Van Dam & The Hardy Boyz in 13:03 when Storm pinned Van Dam with a superkick.  Before the match, Storm says RVD may be able to fly, but not if he wrestles him down onto the mat and has him tapping like a little girl.  After the match, Test gave Jeff Hardy a powerbomb and Christian hit the Unprettier on Matt.  Then Test and Christian both came off the top with elbowdrops on the downed Hardys.  This whole time Storm had the Straight Shooter (half Boston crab) on RVD.  He spat on RVD as the Canadian team exited the ring.

Jaime Knoble pinned Sho Funaki in 5:57 with a sit-down tombstone piledriver.  This was basically to let the crowd get to know Knoble before his KOTR match with The Hurricane.  Crowd was hot for Funaki, but it didn’t help in the end.  Hurricane attacks Knoble after the match and they brawl.  Knoble hits the sit-down tombstone on Hurricane on a chair.

Yoshihiro Tajiri pinned Al Snow in 6:09 with a double stomp from the top rope.  Maven sat at ringside in a wheel chair due to his broken leg.  He watched his mentor get beaten.  Snow coughed up blood after the match.  Tajiri spit green mist in Maven’s eyes after the match as well.  JR tells us that Maven won’t be 100% in a few weeks when the KOTR PPV rolls around, but he should be cleared to wrestle Tajiri.

Tag Team Champions Billy Gunn & Chuck Palumbo beat Rikishi & Tazz in 4:45.  Rikishi plays Ricky Morton for the entire match before tagging in Tazz, who promptly hits him with a German suplex.  As Rikishi gets up, Billy hits the Famouser for the win.  They go to shake hands with Tazz, but he takes out both of the tag champs, and then chokes out Rico.

World Champion The Undertaker pinned Spike Dudley in 5:01.  I’ll do play by play for this one.  He said that he would do to Spike Dudley exactly what he’ll do to Triple-H at King of the Ring.  He dominates Spike for a minute or two before Triple-H makes his way down to the ring.  Taker is distracted, and Spike gets a schoolboy for a close two count.  Taker kicks Spike in the face and walks out of the ring to confront Triple-H.  Spike gets up again and hits an insane plancha off the top rope onto the Taker.  He’s visibly in pain, but continues his assault as he rolls the Taker back into the ring.  HHH cheers for Spike on the outside.  Spike goes for the Dudley Dog, but Taker throws him off half way across the ring.  Spike gets right back up with a dropkick to the knee, and goes for the Dudley Dog again.  He hits it this time for a two count.  HHH throws the World title belt into the ring for Spike, and distracts the ref.  Spike nails Taker in the face with the belt, and Taker blades.  Extremely close two count has the crowd going nuts.  Spike bounces off the ropes as Taker staggers to his feet, but gets nailed in the face with a big boot.  It’s all over now as a pissed off Taker finishes Spike with THREE Last Rides.  HHH is waiting, however, and hits a Pedigree on Taker on the World title belt after the match to a huge pop.

In the back, Bubba Ray Dudley sees Paul Heyman hitting on Trish again.  Bad move.  Bubba powerbombs Heyman through a nearby table and then brawls with Brock Lesnar.

Chris Jericho & X-Pac beat Booker T & Val Venis in 9:53 when Pac pinned Booker after a spin kick to the face.  These are the four finalists in the KOTR tournament.  Jericho attacked Venis after the match, and X-Pac attacked Booker before Goldust made the save.

Kurt Angle & Eddy Guerrero beat Hulk Hogan & Steve Austin in 13:55 when Angle pinned Austin.  Austin hit the Stunner on Guerrero and turned around into an Olympic Slam from the legal man, Angle.  Angle had taken out Hogan with an Olympic Slam through the announce table seconds earlier.  He locked in the ankle lock after the match on Hogan until officials pulled him off.  Vince McMahon, Chris Benoit, Arn Anderson, and Ric Flair all watched at the end of the ring aisle with smiles on their faces.

Dark Match:

Nova pinned Shannon Moore in 11:29

Velocity Tapings:

Billy Kidman pinned Chavo Guerrero Jr. in 13:01

Lance Storm pinned Mark Henry in 4:09

Yoshihiro Tajiri pinned Faarooq in 4:03

D-Lo Brown pinned European Champion William Regal in 9:04 to win the title
