Guest Report post Posted June 11, 2002 Have you ever been to a movie that was so bad, you left the theater in the middle of it?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted June 11, 2002 An actual theater...no not that i can recall. Home Theater(i consider it as counting)...why yes i have. Pearl Harbor was god awful and i truly hate the movie. I left the room and the rest of the people that watched it all after an hour and twenty minutes into it. I couldn't even stand to come back to watch the end which i heard was some good action. No action scene no matter how amazing would be worth watching all of Pearl Harbor. by the way... :flips off Pearl Harbor: Tora! Tora! Tora! owns your retarded ass. Guest Report post Posted June 11, 2002 mortal kombat 2, I started drowsing off about 15 minutes in and so did my friends, so we left. --Rob
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 11, 2002 Never actually left the theater. However, I did once eject a movie after 20 minutes and ask for my money back: The Doom Generation (which was so godawful that I gave up on it despite the fact that Rose McGowan got naked TWICE in that twenty minutes). Guest TUS_02 Report post Posted June 11, 2002 I fell asleep during Mr Holland's Opus. SOOOOOO BORING!!!

Guest starvenger Report post Posted June 11, 2002 I can't say that I have, although I wanted to during Sixth Sense and Snow Falling on Cedars. However I was on dates so I just took a nap instead...
Guest Report post Posted June 11, 2002 I've never walked out on a movie (I'd feel like I'm throwing away money), but there have been times when I wanted to.
Guest Steve J. Rogers Report post Posted June 11, 2002 I'm the type to stick with a horrendously bad movie just for the oft chance of seeing something mildly entertaining but the only time I've ever stopped watching a movie and never returned to finish it was "The Babe Ruth Story" after Babe gets suspened because he was late for a game due to taking an injured pup to the hospital. I think the real Babe walked out of the theatre on this one. Talk about a serious kiss ass blow job that even the recipiant got sick of Steve
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted June 11, 2002 I haven't walked out of a movie in the theatre, but twice I've stopped a movie that I rented. House of Long/Dark Shadows (Not the Christopher Lee & Vincent Price one) and this one Zombie movie were so bad and boring and pointless that I couldn't sit through them. Guest Report post Posted June 12, 2002 I walked out of Thin Red Line. What a piece of crap that was! The only thing that somewhat caught my attention was when they were taking the hill. THAT was cool...but that was a what? 10? 15 Minute scene? 15 Minutes of a three hour movie was good...wow...

Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted June 12, 2002 I walked out of Thin Red Line. What a piece of crap that was! The only thing that somewhat caught my attention was when they were taking the hill. THAT was cool...but that was a what? 10? 15 Minute scene? 15 Minutes of a three hour movie was good...wow... I think that's the only movie that made me fall asleep in the theatre. I like war movies, yes, and I can dig insight into what war does to a man and how war is hell, but I want to see some action too dammit!! That movie was like setup for 20 minutes, about 30 minutes of battle scenes and two hours of people TALKING. With NOTHING GOING ON. I had to read the book for a class, and found it much more interesting than the movie.
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted June 12, 2002 The only movie I ever walked out of was Multiplicity with Michael Keaton. I just didnt enjoy it at all. With as expensive as movies are these days I only go to a movie that I really want to see and have a reasonable expectation of enjoying the movie. Although I did sit through Colateral Damage with Arnold S. <im not even gonna try to spell is last name> And that was quite possibly the biggest waste of time I have ever had at a movie, but I didn't pay for it and was with some buddies so I stayed. Had I been alone I would have left, although I probably wouldnt have gone to that film to begin with.

Guest chirs3 Report post Posted June 12, 2002 I'm proud to say I've never left a theatre during a movie, no matter how godawful it was. At home... I know there are lots, though I can't think of them all at the moment. I WANTED to leave during Ghost World, but I was lying down and very comfortable. Terrible movie. Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation. I think we can all agree that's "Leave the theatre"-worthy material. I watched about 10 minutes at home, then got up and left the house. Oh, and Wonder Boys. I had to wait an extra two months to rent it, since it got Oscar nom's and was put back in some theatres. It finally came out and boy, did it blow. Well, the first hour did. I bailed after that. Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I actullay saw some people walking out on Lord of the Rings because, "It's too long.". At the end I heard people saying, "It didn't even have an ending!" I felt like saying, Christ people! That's what a trilogy is all about, seeing the rest of the movies and putting them together and making a story.
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I forgot about thin red line, once I saw the cast involved I had to see thatshit in theatres, I got up and left about half an hour in because too many naked children and shit in it, with no building storyline. Still not as bad as MK II though --Rob

Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I've never walked away, for the same reasons as CHUD. However...MK2 was the worst movie I've ever seen in theaters and only 1 of 2 times I walked out HEATED. I walked out before the trailers started for LOTR though. My girl at the time got really sick, so we left and got a refund before the movie started. Still haven't seen it, I blame her. Dames

Guest Crazy Dan Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Some movies which I couldn't stand watching were: Coyote Ugly: Boy did this movie suck. The only redeming quality of this so-called movie is that it has hot chicks, and they don't even get naked. This movie had no clue what type of movie it wanted to be. Absolute none. And the part where she calms done a rowdy bunch of customers, by singing a Blondie song, made me change the channel in disgust. About an hour of my life I will never get back. Meet the Parents: Personally I think this movie is way over- rated. I don't see what the big deal over a male nurse is, but boy do they run that joke into the ground. Ok we get it, male nurses aren't manly enough, and hence we should be very disrespectful towards any man who chooses to be a nurse. I just didn't like how every one is a complete asshole to Ben Stiller's character. I just didn't find this movie funny, I still haven't been able to watch this movie through. Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I would have walked out of Meet The Parents had the circumstances been different (Ben Stiller is not funny)...but I was there with a chick...you know !)
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 The only movie I walked out on was Tank Girl... that movie is so goddamn bad. I had a choice between that and Tommy Boy... flipped a coin and Tank Girl came up. Damn coin.
