Guest Report post Posted June 11, 2002 From Rajahwwf.com Steve Austin left RAW tonight when he found out that he would facing "the next big thing" Brock Lesnar on tonight's show according to 1wrestling. It is unclear as to who was planned to go over in the match, but apparently Austin became very upset with the direction that they have been heading and were taking his character. Austin chose to book a flight back to Texas and left Atlanta, therefore not appearing on RAW. Lesnar will now face Bubbah Ray Dudley on tonight's RAW. It has already been documented that Austin was very upset with the direction they have been taking his character and the company's direction as a whole. This situation arose when Austin became very upset when no one chose to tell him what he would be doing on RAW until yesterday when Jim Ross phoned him. Both Vince McMahon and Brian Gerwetz had not spoken with Austin about the show or his upcoming match with Lesnar.
