WWF Tuesday In Texas

 

-WWF Tuesday In Texas:From December 3,1991 . Announcers:Gorrilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan . From:San Antonio,Texas

-This is the first rant I am typing up as I watch the show.

 

-This is the follow up PPV to WWF Survivor Series 1991 that took place just a 5 days before WWF Tuesday In Texas.

 

-Opening Match:WWF Intercontinetal Title Match:Bret Hart(Champion)Vs.Skinner(Challenger):The crowd goes wild for Bret while he is making his entrance done to the ring during this one.They lock up and Bret takes Skinner down.Bret has the early mometum and he is working on Skinner's arm and Bret is pounding away on Skinner. He is still working on Skinner's arm and Bret has kept the mometum throughout the whole match so far and he is still pounding away on Skinner.Bret had the mometum of the match until he sent Bret Hart into the ring post and Skinner is now pounding away on Bret Hart on the outside.They back inside and Skinner hooks on the abdominial stretch,but Skinner breaks his own abdominial stretch but he was keeping the pressure on but Bret came back with a boot but he misses with an elbow from the middle rope and Skinner hit Bret with that skelton-like claw.Skinner still has the momentum and he is just pounding away on Bret Hart and Skinner hits with the Neckbreaker and a cover but Bret kicks out at two.Skinner goes to the middle rope and on the way down Bret puts up his boot and Bret is now dominating Skinner.Bret with a couple of two counts.Bret with an elbow from the middle rope and he gets a two count.Skinner rolls up Bret out of nowhere but Bret kicks out and Skinner goes flying out of the ring and they are now going at each other outside the ring and both men are back in. Skinner goes up top but Bret throws him off and Bret puts Skinner in the Sharpshooter and it's over!!!Good match ***1/4.

 

-Shawn Mooney with Jake Roberts and Jake talks about what he has done to Randy Savage and what he is going to do to Randy Savage.

 

-Gene Okerlund with Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage and Savage answers what Jake Roberts just said.

 

-Jake Roberts Vs.Randy Savage:As Jake Roberts is walking out to the ring Randy Savage attacks him from behind and Randy begins pounding on Jake Roberts and Randy is just dominating the match at the beginning and Savage is in control of the match and Jake Roberts is trying to leave but Randy Savage goes after him and he brings him back in.Jake hit Randy and Jake now has the mometum and Jake is pounding on Jake outside of the ring.They are now going back and forth and they are exchanging punches and Jake once again has the mometum and Jake is working on the arm of Savage.They are going back and forth but once agian Jake has the mometum back and he hit Jake with the Short Clothesline and Jake goes for the DDT but Savage fights back and Roberts is done and Savage went up top and he hit with the Flying Elbow Drop,he covers Jake and it's over!!!After the match Savage went for the steel chair but the time keeper took that away from him and then he got the ring bell but Referee Earl Hebner took that away from him and just out of nowhere Jake hit Savage with a DDT!!!Savage is back up and Jake hit him with another DDT!!!Referee Earl Hebner told Jake to get out,so Jake begins to go back to the locker room area but he turns around and he goes back and he gets the snake from outfrom under the ring.Miss Elizabeth runs down to the ring to try and help Randy but Jake gives Randy another DDT!!!Jake opened up the bag with the cobra in it and Jake grabs Miss Elizabeth and he slaps her!!! Finally Jack Tunney makes his way down to ringside and he makes Jake Roberts leave the ringside area.Oh man what a match and what an unbelieveable after match!!!***1/2.

 

-Gene Okerlund with Jake Roberts and Jake talks about what he just did to Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth.

 

-The Warlord(w/Doctor Harvey Whippleman)Vs."British Bulldog"Davey Boy Smith:These two guys wrestled tons of times in 1991.They tie up and they push each other around looking for the early advantage and the two men are just going back and forth.Davey Boy clotheslines The Warlord and he goes out to the ringside are. Davey Boy goes to the outside but Davey Boy goes out after him but The Warlord takes the momentum back and now both men are in but Davey Boy now has the momentum back.The Warlord fights back and he now has the momentum and he now has the British Bulldog caught in a bearhug,Davey Boy fights out of it but The Warlord still has the momentum and he is pounding away on The Warlord.Davey Boy is trying to fight back and they both exchange two counts but The Warlord with the Full Nelson but he doesen't have it locked in correctly.The Warlord keeps the pressure of the Full Nelson on but Davey Boy is trying to fight back eventually The Warlord just broke the hold all by himself but Davey Boy is now fighting back.Davey Boy with a superplex and he covers The Warlord but he only gets a two count.Davey Boy goes for the Running Powerslam but The Warlord falls on him and The Warlord gets a two count.The Warlord sends Davey Boy into the ropes and he hooks onto The Warlord's back and Davey Boy turns him over for the pin and it's over!!!Decent Match,*3/4

 

-Shawn Mooney with Randy Savage and Randy Savage is screaming about how he is going to get Jake Roberts for what he is doing.Randy Savage on the floor yelling about how he didn't even get a piece of Jake Roberts but he is going to get him,this is the best post match promo I have ever seen!!!

 

-Ted Dibiase(w/Sherri)&Repo Man Vs.Virgil &Tito Santana:Tito and the Repo Man start the match and they go back and forth and Tito gets the advantage and he is working on the Repo Man's arm and Tito is on a role and the Repo Man is now on the outside of the ring.The Repo Man tags in Dibiase and Tito Santana tags in Virgil. Dibiase and Virgil go back and forth and Virgil is on a role and he sends Dibiase to the outside but Dibiase fights back and he now tags in the Repo Man and he is now pounding on Virgil.The Repo Man and Dibiase are double teaming Virgil.The Repo Man tags in Dibiase and he is pounding away on Virgil,but Virgil hits with a neckbreaker.Virgil tags in Tito Santana and he is pounding away on the Repo Man until Dibiase tripped him up and the Repo Man has the mometum back.The Repo Man tags in Dibiase and he continues to pound on Tito. Dibiase and the Repo Man are continuing to double team Santana and Tito and the Repo Man hit each other with a double clothesline,they both make tags and Virgil is on a role,all four men are now in.Sherri goes to hit Virgil with her shoe but she hits Dibiase by accident and Virgil goes after Sherri but the Repo Man hits Virgil,Dibiase covers Virgil and it's over.Not Bad,*1/2.

 

-Gene Okerlund with Hulk Hogan and Hogan talks about talking the WWF Title back from The Undertaker, YA,YA,YA.

 

-Main Event,WWF Title Match:The Undertaker(Champion)(w/Paul Bearer)Vs.Hulk Hogan(Challenger):President Jack Tunney is at ringside.The Hulkster gets nailed by The Undertaker and Paul Bearer but he fights back and Hogan is pounding The Undertaker.Hogan has the mometum but The Undertaker fights back and they are going back and forth and Hogan bodyslammed The Undertaker and Hogan nails The Undertaker over the top rope and onto the arena floor.Hogan has the momentum but The Undertaker fights back and he now has the momementum and he is now dominating the Hulkster.The Undertaker is now choking Hogan outside the ring.They are back in the ring and The Undertaker is still pounding on Hogan.The Undertaker is continuing to choke Hogan in the corner while Paul Bearer is distracting the referee.Hogan tries to fight back but The Undertaker is just pounding Hogan.Hogan and The Undertaker are once again going at it on the outside and The Undertaker is still dominating Hogan and they are back in and once again The Undertaker is choking Hulk Hogan.Hogan is fighting back and The Undertaker tripped when he was going into the ropes.Hogan has advantage for a few minutes but The Undertaker fought back and he is pounding on Hogan but Hogan fights back and he the Hulkster just Hulked Up and Ric Flair just came to ringside.Hogan just clotheslined The Undertaker over the top rope and Hogan just hit Flair with a chair and Flair fell on President Jack Tunney.Hogan is pounding on The Undertaker but The Undertaker went to send Hogan in corner where Flair had a chair set up but Hogan reversed it and The Undertaker was sent into the corner and Hogan with Big Boot,Hogan grabs the Urn and he throws what I guess is supposed to be the ashes from Urn into The Undertaker's eyes and Hogan covers The Undertaker,he gets the three count and he wins the WWF Title for the 4th time!!!Alright match,*1/2.

 

-Bottom Line:Basically all this PPV did was set up the 1992 Royal Rumble Match and it helped the rivalry between Savage and Roberts draw even more heat.Every match on the show was watchable and the Bret Hart Vs. Skinner match for the WWF Intercontinental Title was pretty good and the Savage Vs. Roberts was pretty good so overall it was a pretty good show.

dude, that's a good thing.  don't turn into a whining bitch of a reviewer like scott keith has turned into.  he used to just comment on the action and give some witty remarks, but now his reviews read like someone who doesn't even want to watch wrestling.

I know what he ment and I didn't say it was a bad thing.I like Scott Keith's rants but he does complain a lot nowadays,I just thought it was funny when one person says my writing is too much like Scott Keith's writing and one person says my writing is the total opposite of Scott Keith's writing.By the way I thought I did a good job on this rant.

Pretty good tape rant Drury37. I don't have a problem with you not using spaces after punctuation. Just to let you know Sean Mooney's first name is spelt "Sean" not "Shawn".
