Question about Super J 94,95 and J Crown 96 tape

Recommended Posts

Guest Hayabusa Moleman

Ok, so it looks like I'll have some money this summer and after listening to people recommend these tapes over and over for years now, I am finally going to break down and purchase them.  So, I would like to know, how long are the full versions (or fullest versions available) of these events?  The longest I have seen are 3.5 hours on 94, 4.5 hours on 95, and 2 hours on 96.  The 96 one seems kinda short, so is this clipped or matches cut out?  If so, is there a fuller version available?  Thanks in advance.

All three events have all complete matches.  The times you listed are correct (the 94 & 95 J-Cups are two volume sets, while the J-Crown is just one tape).

Before getting the J* Crown you ought to get the Ski Diving J. It is the lead in show to the tournament. It features eight Junior heavyweight titles from different promotions on the line.

It has some great matches like Lyger vs Togo, TAKA vs Delfin, Ohtani vs Sakuraba, and Black Tiger (Guerrero) vs Sasuke.

Thanks for the responses.  What is the tape length for a complete version of Skydiving J?

And it's updated, too!  But you're not going to like what I've got to say about the 2/02 Asuka/Yoshida, especially if you see it and it resembles the 7/01 match.  From all I've read, though, they aren't that similar.  Gawd I watched some real shit this time round...and it'll be worse with ~~~ECW TV~~~ on tap for the 28th - urrkkkkk.
