I watch it, and it was pretty funny Simon the talent scout was just mean to most of the peoplewhom auditioned but I found it entertaining thou because some of his comments were justified some were just awful. And also notice some of the guys seem to be kinda fruity, especially that one Zorro guy from NY he had Simon's picture on his shirt he couldn't sing for shit but Simon picked him. I also thought they were going for certain looks Simon didn't want to pick that big girl from Seattle but she could sing and all and he didn't want to pick her but he got overruled. But Paula Abdul did look good thou.

This was the biggest train wreck I've ever seen. I wanted to change the channel really bad, but I couldnit peel away. It was so pathetic. Plus, Simon was hilarious:

 

GIRL: I do better when there's lights and an audience

SIMON: what's that <points at light>

GIRL: It's a...

SIMON: It's called a LIGHT.

At first I didn't want to see it but it was hard to turn off,

 

Gay guy: I want you guys to make me over into your product

 

Simon: This is a pen not a magic wond

 

The cheese girl: I skipped work for this and my job knows I'm here now.

 

Simon: I don't think they have to worry, you'll be back Monday

 

And then cheese girl came back to audition 5 minutes later when they already cut her talking about she didn't know if they liked her.

 

Simon: Who's giving you lessons

 

Girl: This lady in Montana

 

Simon: Get a lawyer and sue her

I SO meant to watch it, but I got caught up talking on the phone with one of those Christian girls(sorry Kinetic, my damn emotions overpowered my logic circuits) and forgot about it. When did it end? If it ended at 10 instead of 9, I could have watched it.

I was going to watch it, but I got caught up in playing No Mercy instead. I wanted to see all those persons hopes and dreams get crushed. There's an encore on tomorrow, I think.

The later performances in the British version normally consisted of the following.....

 

Contestant just sang their heart out in the later stages...

 

Simon: So, what would you give yourself out of ten?

 

Nervous Contestant: Um, eight?

 

Simon: Try two

Yeah ive seen the british version of it, and ive seen some clips of American idol, great insults

the show was the funniest thing on last night.  I loved Simon's Insults.  My favorite part was the auditions in New York

 

Guy: None of the notes you hit were right

Girl: I wasn't trying to hit the right notes!

 

That girl and that one guy who thought he was the best singer ever were the 2 funniest things of that whole show.

 

 

By the way, did that guy w/ Simon's picture kinda remind you of MarioLogan's Freddy picture?

That guy who Simon said was the "worst singer in America" was hilarious. Not to mention that girl who missed all the auditions and her gross mommy.

I've watched all the episodes except for one, that is the one where the first 10 sang. I saw the first 3 Finalists, though... RYAN STARR! WHOO-HOO!! I love that girl... she can sing, she's hot.. she's.. Ryan Starr. When the voting for the final winner comes in I'm going to vote for her or that Justin guy (that dude that can REALLY sing). I like them the best out of the entire show.

 

I wish you could vote online, though...

 

And, when the cheerleader from Dallas ran to hug the judges and fell... I laughed my ass off. I was weak from that moment.

 

And, yes I do watch the show too much and need help if you're wondering.
