Grilled Chicken Flat Bread Sandwich

Anyone else try this? The last few years I ave only eaten the big mac. I try to stay away from McD's but sometimes the pocketbook over rules. I think it kicks ass and reminds me of the old Pita sandwichs (RIP) @ Wendy's. Good for a change, but just a matter of time till they suck ass like everything else they have on the menu.

I'm boycotting them just due to the advertising campaign. I don't know about other locales, but here in FLA, I have friggin' Lauren Hill or someone rapping, trying to get me to go to my local McDonalds and get a flat sandwich. Fuck them. I'll stay at BK.

speaking of mcdonalds, people either really love their food or despise it, over the years ive been growing away from it, but i can endure it at times, but getting complicated things at mcdonalds is rediculous

I remember trying to get my filet o' fish sandwich plain through drive thru one time:

Me: yeah, can I get a Filet o'fish, plain, with a large coke, and that's it

girl: You want the sandwich plain?

Me: Yeah, no cheese or white stuff, just plain.

girl: Doesn't that taste bad?

Me: Excuse me?

girl: I mean, doesn't the sandwich taste bad without anything on it?

Me: (sarcastically) No it tastes fine, knowing that I've got the fresh catch of the day coming from you guys.

girl: so you really want that plain

Me: (more sarcasm) Listen, this is a fascinating conversation and all, but if I'm late for work again, I won't be buying any more PLAIN Filet o' fish sandwiches for a while. Can I get my total, please?

I eventually got my sandwich. guess what was on it? Cheese. Oh, and fisherman's man goo. Fuckers. (shakes fist angrily) I'll show them.

As a joke, I stop in from time to time and get a cheeseburger cause they cheap.  I always order no onions, but about 75% of the time, there are onions.  Gotta love mcdonalds

I see what you mean. The nerve of them having an advertising campaign that features somebody famous.

That's cold. I don't like Lauren Hill, or any rap "star' tellig me to go to McD's. I thought they did fine before, without any famous people ordering around the general consenus. Either way, don't be a dick about it, I was giving my justification as to why I won't be getting it, seeing as that's the subject line, Swan.

McD's always has a chick in the window that holds conversations with me until my food is ready. White trash females talking to me at mcdonalds is not pleasent.

Bah.  I need the custom title "SK of FOOD" or something.  I seriously want to know why McDonalds is pushing Chicken all of sudden.  Chicken was the popular thing LAST year, this year its seems to be salads. Chicken Fajittas (which btw, S-U-C-K, as they are no longer than my pinky finger, granted they are $1..), Chicken Strips (still not as good as anything from KFC or Popeyes) and now this..

Anyway, this think they call a flatbread "sandwich" is actually pretty decent but its not EARTH shatteringly amazing or anything.  Its much like Wendy's Pita, only the format of this sandwich allows everything to fall out on you if you try to eat corner to corner.  Of course if you eat it top to bottom, you end up with half a sandwich with nothing but lettuce and the cheese and no chicken.  The flatbread itself is ok, but its kinda bland in flavor.

Its good to try once (for something a bit different than burger and fries) but I dont see it becoming a mainstay, as most of the new flavor ideas that they've thrown out have.  (Anyone care for a mozzarella stick?--bah..)

McDonalds should stick to burgers and fries and leave the chicken to KFC.

The sandwich isn't that bad. One of the onions got on my shirt though. That pissed me off.

But KFC sucks at chicken too. Well unless you like buckets o' grease.
