Guest swan Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 I first got hooked on the piece of trash in college. I got away from it for a few years but now my lady has got me hooked. I tape the damn thing and watch it everynight after work. How sick is that? I must admit though Belle has become one hot piece of ass. Anyone else want to fess up?
Guest razazteca Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Days of our Lives is ok, but nothing beats Passions!!!! Tabitha and Timmy rule!!!! Also any and every novela on Univision & Telemudo, keeps me entertained, so many beautiful women. No habla espanol, does it really matter?
Guest Risk Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Passions isn't very good at suspending my disbelief. It's kind of juvenile. Plus, everyone is Catholic, which I don't like. Same with DOL. I don't like Catholisism.
Guest dreamer420 Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 i was hooked on days of our lives a couple of years ago. it was pretty easy to quit watching.
Guest redbaron51 Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 *laughs at everyone who watches soap operas
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 *laughs at everyone who watches soap operas Well what the hell do you think wrestling is?
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Guys pretending to beat the crap out of eachother while, in fact, beating the crap out of eachother. Is this what Susan Lucci does week in and week out? Seriously, does she?
Guest Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 I must admit though Belle has become one hot piece of ass. The only reason to watch, my man.
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Guys pretending to beat the crap out of eachother while, in fact, beating the crap out of eachother. Is this what Susan Lucci does week in and week out? Seriously, does she? The WWE today is way more storyline-driven and soap opera-ish than it ever has been before. Outside of PPV's (and the RARE free TV match), it is getting much harder to find good, quality WRESTLING on WWE's shows. As further proof, just look at all the love triangles and other unnecessarily cheesy storylines the WWE churns out these. Obviously, it's not exactly what Susan Lucci does everyday, but it's getting pretty damn close. That is the point I was trying make....
Guest razazteca Posted June 12, 2002 Report Posted June 12, 2002 Passions is so bad that its good, Timmy is the greatest gimmick on day time tv. Joan Collins did kick ass every week, but it was a prime time soap.

Belle is one hot piece of ass. I watch on and off...if there is nothing to do I'll tune in...after 10 minutes or so I can figure out who's screwing who and who is screwing who over. Been watching Port Charles too - and Livvie, Allison and Karen are all hot pieces of ass.
Guest Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 I'd eat Allison out all day. MY GAWD she's hot...
Guest crandamaniac Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 am i the only Chloe mark in here........ummm.......what i meant to say was......SOAP OPERAS SUCK!
Guest El Satanico Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 I've watched it for probably going on ten years. I'm not the type of fan that must see every single episode and has to plan their day around watching or taping the show, but i watch on a regular basis. I also love Passions. See the problem is that too many people actually watch it expecting it to be like the real world. Passions isn't trying to represent the real world, it embraces the soap opera world(even makes fun of it) and isn't trying to be real. Passions doesn't want you to suspend belief and see it as something that could happen it just wants you in their world. It doesn't take itself serious and if someone doesn't take it serious they will enjoy it. I'm glad to some guys that are man enough to admit they watch soaps. The WWeee fans are just in denial that they watch something that's more of a soap opera then a sport.
Guest Risk Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 Yeah. But how come in both Passions and Days EVERYONE has to be Catholic? It just feels like they're trying to force it on you.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 It is odd that all the NBC soaps have had all catholic characters. I don't recall any of the other shows doing stuff like that. It's a tad strange, but i don't really feel like they are pushing those believes on us just those rituals. I'm not religous, but as long as i don't get preached at i have no problem with any of it and Days and Passions never really PREACH their believes.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 Timmy is a great character. It's especially funny when he talks in third person. Chloe is hot, too bad she's got cancer. That probably means the actresses will leave the show.
