Whatever happened to the Porn Folder Idea?

I remember that when Sk and crew left there was talk of adding a porn folder and that there were more than a few people interested in the idea. So what happened with that?

The main place to talk about that stuff is over at WDI anyway, PornFAQ has the single largest knowledge of all forms of deviant entertainment that I've ever seen in my life.

I agree that the Porn folder should be brought back. I post in the WDI folder often, but we should still have one here, just because. Since PORNFAQ writes for the site, I'm sure he can be enticed to post in a Porno folder here.

 

The last time I spoke to Mike the admin about it (a few weeks ago), he seemed open to the idea, but suggested that we try and come up with a new name for it. While I think PORNO~! is fine, if he *really* wants a new name, how does "Back of the Video Store" sound?

 

If we can get enough people to clamor for a Porno folder, maybe we'll get one. It was one of the best & most popular folders on the old ezBoard, so I don't see why it shouldn't be resurrected. Back me up, you guys! If you want a PORNO~! folder, post here explaining why you want it. People power!

If we had to re-name it...we could name it "Back to the Closet", "That's NOT Mine~!", "Keep Away from the Wife" or just "Keep Away"

Seriously doubt that PORNFAQ would post here, guys.  Just letting you know that.  He was surprised to hear that this place was even still up and going.  I'd have to say he's pretty much all WDI.  Can't say I blame him too much, though.

Since he has stated his distain for the board several times.  I'm not gonna do all his talking, so I'll just say that he writes on any site possible, because it's all about getting your work out and about all over the net.  Just because he's got a gig on the site, doesn't mean he'd spend time on this board posting.  He's got his hands full juggling 3 monikers at WDI.

I think it would be cool to add the porn folder back.  it was one of the most interesting places of discussion on the old board, and as long as it doesn't turn into a "we hate hhh" folder, which it probably well, the porn folder could work.  if not a porn folder then how about a sex folder?

General Chat was almost a Porno folder for a while, back in the days of "Favorite Fetish" and such. I'm for the reinstatement of the PORNO~! folder, but why not call it "Mature Viewing... Argh, Not Old People!"

I used to stop by there, but that was only when I was banned.  Once they switched to Ikonboard I wasn't banned anymore.  Plus WDI doesn't have Quick Relpy.  I would never post without Quick Reply.

Let's see.  I was banned for tearing Scott Keith apart and posting a picture of graph which showed that YELLOW is the happiest color.  This is of course broke the old "no picture" rule, so Botter banned me.  When they switched to this board I was allowed to comeback, but I couldn't stir up shit like I did on EZBoard

Try to find a post by a guy named RSPWFAQ (it's not the real Keith), but the avatar is apparently a real pic of SK holding his book.  Lets just say that SK looks like he never leaves his computer except to go get Nachos.
