"Goodbye cruel world"

Oh wait, that's my favourite one liner that I hope he says...

"Not this way!  NOT THIS WAY!"

I can't tell if he's upset at the finish or preparing for dinner at Pat Patterson's house.

I liked it during the B&P match on the first Velocity, when Stacy took of Trish's shirt, and Cole said, "Stacy, removing Trish's pants!"  I could not believe what I had just heard.

Also, I enjoy his use of the word "heinous", as sometimes he just uses it as a verb, as in "[blank] was the victim of a heinous."  At least JR uses it in its proper context as an adjective.

No kidding. I just watched the 8/2/99 and 8/9/99 RAWs(Jericho's debut) and they ran that angle where Austin got jumped while walking up the stairs. Cole is outside with the ambulance and he says the word "henious" like 8 times a minute. I swear to God, he had NOTHING ELSE to say other than "henious"...

Another dumb one would have to be any stipulation match like a cage match. He'll tell King or Tazzzzzzz like 25 times during the fucking match, "The rules to match are simple, King!".

And people wonder why I don't waste my time watching Crapdown anymore...

"This handicap match has become a 2 on 1 affair..."

He gets picked on a lot for that one...and rightfully so. As for one liners go..."Stop the pain"...everytime he says that, I get the to hang him upside down from a tree and toss apples at his head.

For a few weeks during early 1999, Michael Cole welcomed you to RAW as 'The Highest Rated Action-Adventure series On TV!'.

Action-Adventure?

Were we watching Indiana Jones or something.

Actually, Vince has tried so sell his TV show as an "Action-adventure" series for a long time, as a way of keeping people from calling it a "Fake sport".

Say what you will about Cole... at least he's not this guy...

That's right. Toad Pedophile.

Stay tuned for the wrap-up show after the ppv ends where we'll have an interview with the new WWF Champion (about an hour before the match starts)

Though he didn't actually say anything during it, my favorite Michael Cole moment was when Austin beat the everloving shit out of him on a Smackdown leading up to last year's KotR. The fact that Cole looked like he was going to cry coupled with that one woman in the audience who yelled "Leave him alone!" makes the Cole beating not just my favorite MC moment, but one of my fondest WWF memories.

Yeah, those were some good times. I forget, why did Austin attack Cole again?

'cuz Cole was badmouthing Vince, calling him "the devil" and such, and since this was when Austin was in the height of his Mr. McMahon worship, he could not sit idly by listen to MC trash the man he loved.

"You know, Edge is just one of those fun loving type of guys".

He said that in the middle of a match. That's just fucking gay. It's supposed to be one on one wrestling and he's talking about dumbass shit like always.

Yeah, that's what I had in mind when I wrote that.  He was just backstage saying, "Steve Austin has been the victim of a heinous!"

WTF?

Cole: "Ya know Tazz...that Randy Orton is a good looking guy...*winks and blows kisses at Orton*

He pays way too much attention to Orton's looks.

Cole can be pretty funny sometimes. Just last night, he got in this zinger: "Test has a bright future in the WWE!" I swear, that Michael Cole can be a HOOT!

I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed this, but last night right in the middle of the Test/Hurricane match, Cole said that Test was all-powerful.  I think he was trying to say "Test is all power!", which of course doesn't make any grammatical sense in the first place.

I hate when Cole picks a word for a particularly bad act and runs with it ALL NIGHT. Like last week when he kept talking about Undertaker's "vicious" attack on Triple H. Once he decided on "vicious," he went on to use it 30 times in 2 hours.

Then there's the overuse of "damn," and "not this way."

Another time I wanted to slap him was one time when Edge & Christian came out to kiss Benoit's ass in front of Commish Foley. Cole was like, "What do these whiners and complainers want. They're crybabies." The thing is, Cole sounds like the biggest bitch out of anyone in TV history.

But my two favorite things about Cole?

1. When the color guy (Tazz, Lawler, Snow, etc.) says something about one of the Divas looking hot and Cole doesn't say SHIT. Listen to him next time. Tazz will be like, "Stacy Keibler sure is hot," or "I'd like to ride her train," and Cole will be completely silent. Either he's gay or his wife has him whupped something terrible.

2. When someone makes a joke about Cole being a loser with the ladies, and Cole doesn't say SHIT. One time Stephanie was like, "You wouldn't know anything about sex" or something like that, and Cole didn't say a word. At least JR would be like "I'm married" or something.

Who can forget his classic quote from the 2001 Year in Review special.  The King was saying something along the lines of how Cole liked the "strudel", and he countered with (in the most school-girlish voice ever), "No, I like the pie!"

"That damned Red Devil!"  ro "Big Evil is coming for HHH!".

First of all "Big Evil" and "Red Devil" are possibly the dumbest nicknames this side of "Mr. Ass"  and the latter is pretty fucking redundant.  A Red Devil, what as opposed to a Yellow Devil?  The only colors I know of Devils being is Red and Blue and I question the snaity of whoever named Duke's sports teams.  And Second of all, Cole's pussyfied voice just doesn't sound good saying any of this, he may very well be the worst play-by-play guy thay've ever had who has been on TV as consistantly as he has.
