Guest Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 Best tag team not just in skill cohesion but best Ring presence as well Like Demolition they just pound you down like you were ground beef and they were tenderizing you. but people popped for them even when they were Heels because of their ring presence so no best top ten just list or name your favorite tag teams you seen in WWF WCW ECW Japan Mexico Canada Anywhere whatever you watched

Guest converge241 Posted June 13, 2002 Report Posted June 13, 2002 my top 5 all time 5. Blanchard/Anderson more the NWA/WCW stuff 4. The rockers 3. The Hart Foundation 2. Midnight Express (vol II eaton lane. i did mark out for Holly/Barton though and the paul heyman orig express was good too) 1. The Skyscrapers - Spivey and Vicious!!! realistically i obviously got more enjoyment out of the midnights over a longer period of time. but in younger times i marked like crazy for anything they did. didnt care for the "mean Mark" version. and ill pretend masked skyscraper never existed, thank you. honorable mentions: (in no particular order) demolition strike force harlem heat destrction crew (enos and bloom) big show and spike (i know they only wrestled like twice.) edge and christian bulldogs the eliminators sabu/van dam and the hollywood f'n blondes

Guest Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Even though I've only seen one match of them (against the Bulldogs), I was very, very impressed by the Malenko Brothers.
Guest Frankie Williams Posted June 17, 2002 Report Posted June 17, 2002 Im surprised that no one mentioned and combination of Los Boriquas.....hee hee
Guest Anorak Posted June 19, 2002 Report Posted June 19, 2002 The British Bulldogs: I would have cheered any British wrestlers regardless, them being great wrestlers was a bonus. The Hart Foundation: Nice contrast between Anvil and Bret, most tag team partners seemed so identical that they stood out. Cool matches and theme helped as well. The Rockers: Always enjoyed their matches, can't remember ever being bored watching them even when I was younger. The Road Warriors/The Legion of Doom: They just had that ultra hard image going for them that was so appealing. The Rock'n'Roll Express: They always managed to make the crowd care about the outcome of the match, they managed to achieve this against a range of teams, not just the Midnights. Demolition: For their look, theme and double beatdowns. Obviously the same reasons as LOD/R.Warriors. The Eliminators: For 'Total Elimination' especially. The Gangsta's: I always found them entertaining, they certainly got the fans heated in SMW & ECW. Some of their brawls were better than others but I always marked for them. The Hollywood Blondes: A perfect team, they had as much chemistry as anyone, I really liked their theme music as well. Edge & Christian: For countless funny moments and TLC. The Midnight Express: Their matches always had a real flow to them and they had a cool finisher, double teams and theme as well. The Heavenly Bodies: I was gutted when they lost to the Steiners at Summerslam 93, I loved Jim Cornette even when I was a mark. Both versions of the team were good. The Orient Express: I always thought they were good team even though they rarely won a match. Tajiri & Mikey Whipwreck: These two just seemed to work together for some reason. Favourite short lived teams: Marty Jannetty & 123 Kid: 123 Kid was my favourite wrestler next to Bret Hart & Roddy Piper, I was dissapointed they only held the belts so breifly. Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne: Their characters always intrigued me when I was younger, they were just a bit different from the rest. They didn't look like a lot of the other wrestlers and they seemed more violent as well. They were the sort of people I always enjoyed to see beating up people like Zenk, Watts, Gunn and Bagwell. Even when I was a lot younger I disliked the bland pretty boy mid/low carders of 91-94 period WCW, it was just as good watching Vader or The Dangerous Alliance beat them up as well. Ricky Steamboat & Shane Douglas/Dustin Rhodes: Mainly for Steamboat but I thought Douglas and Rhodes made good face teams with him. Hon mention for The Rougeaus and The Quebecers, I always wanted the Bulldogs and The Rockers to beat the Rougeau's them really badly so they were very effective heels, I never cheered for them like some other heel teams though. I appreciate them more now but for some reason I never really warmed to The Steiners when I was younger so I can't really list them either.
