Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I would like to take this moment to nominate DDP & Mick Foley to be the Color and PBP men, respectivley, on SmackDown! replacing the awful Michael Cole and Tazz combo they have now... DDP would be the funniest color man probably ever, and I think (based on Foley's selling of the Kennel from Hell match, along with his knowlege of wrestling overall, and his understanding of how important the commentary is to getting wrestlers over) Mick would be a great PBP man. And the guys are friends, so they would have the chemistry that a long-standing annouce team has, almost right out of the box. Plus it would give two of my favorite broken down, ex wrestlers something cool to do.
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 And while we're at it let's kick Lawler's ass out of the color spot on RAW and bring Heyman back!!!
Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted June 13, 2002 yup, except the one small problem is that foley isnt currently employed by the wwe, and would probably not return unless he got a pretty damn sweet deal.

How much would he need for 1 day a week? He could shill his books all he wants and write on the plane.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 man oh man.... we shouldnt even tease ourselves with such an idea. besides them being great at it, cant you just picture them having a good time. I could so envision them getting really into it (and probably cracking each other up sometimes)
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 See, Vince thinks he's still back in 1995, so let him live out his little fantasy... While WE look to the future, he hopes the past can help out that future...and I only have one word to say to that... QUE?
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Apparently DDP also has some tapes of his early matches that Austin and Foley made for him while they traveled together in WCW... With Austin and Foley supplying humorous commentary. How much would you pay on Ebay for one of THOSE tapes?
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 DDP & Foley? Really good idea, but my only concern would they would be too humerous. As funny as they are, you can get to the point where you have an overdose of humor, especially sophomoric humor
Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Thats why you should add Mike Tenay to the mix: Smackdown: DDP, Mick, and Tenay Raw: J.R., Heyman, and Dusty Rhodes Yes...I am probably the only person in the world who enjoys The American Dream calling matches... That would be great... I could see Foley and DDP harrassing Tenay the entire time, pulling pranks on him etc. That would be great And yes you are one of few that enjoys the Dweem calling matches
