Guest Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I was at Tvtome.com and came across this interesting tidbit on the SmackDown! page: SmackDown Win Loss Records (updated 5/14/02) Top Ten Singles Wrestler W L D 1. Kurt Angle 39 20 3 2. Chris Jericho 34 31 2 3. The Rock 31 20 7 4. Rikishi Phatu 22 11 3 5. Undertaker 20 7 6 6. Test 19 19 1 7. Kane 19 25 1 8. Big Show 18 15 6 9. Triple H 18 18 2 10. Steve Blackman 17 2 0 Is this really as recent as May 14? How does Blackman get on there if he hasn't wrestled in a thousand years? Triple H is only at .500 or so? When is this starting from, the beginning of the calendar year? Any thoughts?

Guest converge241 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 blackman? wtf? i always wished they did track this even if just to acknowledge the house shows on TV. for example: JR: "RVD is coming off an impressive weekend sweep , winning all 3 matches" King: "but his opponent, Regal , has to be upset about going 1 for 2" I can understand they wouldnt want to admit they are giving away some of the big matches as warmups to ppv encounters , but they wouldnt always have to say who the opponents were (unless it fit the story). put the real results on the web page because lets face it if you have the web, you pretty much know the results anyway. tracking this would 1) give that sense of upward and downward mobility wrestler to wrestler ("so and sos 100% for June" or "hes been splitting them right down the middle and takes one step forward and one step back") 2) bring some more attention to house shows , make them matter a little bit more (yes i Know just a little thing, but anything's gotta help now when they are doing half the houses from last year)
Guest Brian Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Angle has a .595 winning percentage.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Brian has a 1.000 anglesault baiting average
Guest Brian Report post Posted June 13, 2002 Actually, it's .600 I actually think it's kinda of funny Angle goes over as much as he does. It's kinda the reason while angle can still stay over where other heels die, they're made to look like losers and job while Angle just looks like a loser and wins. Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 13, 2002 I doubt the list is accurate, or current. After all, Big Show, Kane, and Taker are all on the Raw roster, while this list only covers Smackdown; also, Rock has been out for months; also, where the hell are Austin, Regal, RVD, and any of the old tag teams? Furthermore, can anyone ever recall 'Taker and Big Show both having no less than six matches on Smackdown alone that ended in a draw or a no-contest? This list is bullshit.
