Mine is definetly the good old-fashioned chair.

 

It can just really never get stale if taken right.  When Austin gets in there and swings it like mad at jobbers or someone takes a stiff shot in a PPV match to turn the tide, it rules all.

 

What about you? Now I know there have been plenty of gimmicked objects threads but I'm talking about the tables, ladders, ring bells, pipes, ans, trash canse, whatever for your reasons.

I just like the ring bell and the chairs, only because they are not over sold by the announcers that refer to them as things that cause the most injuries.

I've got to go with two - the singapore canes of Sandman (so fucking stiff) and the trash can (when you hit someone over the head with one it crushes, and the same when someone lands on one, makes such a great sound as well).

The chair is classic, but my personal favourite is Sting's Baseball Bat, the nWo got battered with that thing.

Back on topic, I'll always love the chair. But the sledgehammer or the steel chain are good. The sledge can make anyone look awesome swinging that thing, and I love the chain when used in the same way as the brass knuckles.

Dont know if you would call this a weapon but I've always been a sucker for the green mist whether its Kabuki, Muta or Tajiri.  For standard weapon there is nothing like a leather strap.  You know you are going to take a stiff shot off of that!!

i love a good stiff chair shot but my favourite is the singapore cane.  watch the sandman smack sabu a few times in the head and try to not say holy shit.

I totally agree Dreamer. The Singapore Cane, Chair,and Barbed-wre baseball bat have to be my favorites.

Totally. In his stairway to hell match with sandman, him jabbing sandman with the scissors is sick. I liked the arabic spike as well.

Chairs ruled back when Trips and Austin were using them to destroy people last April and May. It didn't really get old either.

Well, people could actually sell a chair back in the day. Now, it disgusts me when Rock and HHH bring their hands up and block it when Foley took over 20 shots to his unprotected skull at RR98.

I've always been partial to the CO2 Bottle/fire extinguisher. In fact, I've also always wondered if anybody is crazy enough to try and sell a bottle shot to the head...

The chair is my favorite, it makes a hell of a lot of noise on impact, so it sounds like someone just got killed.  

 

Jeff Jarrett's guitar is another favorite of mine...love the way the guitar is designed to shatter on impact with an opponent.  One of my favorite memories from the Nitro/Thunder taping I went to was Jarrett's guitar being shattered by Sting's baseball bat...classic.  I liked the bat too.

 

I also like the florescent lighting tubes indy shows/backyard wrestlers use.

He's a fan of the 2,000-pound steel steps, the power generator from Rumble 99, and the Cell is in itself a weapon. After all, fingers can get caught in it.

I've always been partial to the barbed-wire wrapped baseball bat, even if the majority of the time it doesn't look convincing and has absolutely NO plausible explanation for being at ring-side.

 

I also like the ring bell (because the officials won't be able to ring the bell for the DQ, right? ), particularly in No Mercy for N64 how when you hit an opponent with it it goes off.  Has that ever happened in real life? In my somewhat short period of watching I've never seen it happen.

plus you can't swing it hard enough to do damage to someone and make it look convincing.

Oh... the weapon... HEAD!!!!!! Or would he be considered a manager and part time wrestler. I still remember when he won the hardcore title. Best hardcore champ ever!!

Yes!

 

On Nitro, it was Taskmaster vs. Benoit, and one of them used the ring bell as a weapon, and it went off, but not the noraml resonance of course. Funny thing was, even though the ring bell was in the ring, the bell still rang when whoever won the match won.
