Ask/confront/bitch out evenflowDDT

Guest evenflowDDT

So, I actually remembered to check the "General Chat" folder, and was minding my own business (uhh... yea...) when I came across this quote:

I was thinking of adding EvenflowDDT, but...he's a little strange.

Now wait a minute! How am *I* strange? So... in honor of Kinetic saying I can rip off his ripped off idea, ask or tell me what you think about me is strange, or anything else, and I will explain it.

PS: Off-topic but I'm leaving right now to go graduate! wh00!

The strangest thing I've noticed about you is your penchant for having some weird guy come out and laugh.

Also, may I ask what "Full Moon" movies are?

Hey, no offense, homeslice. I personally found your whole "I'm dark and depressed/Now I'm a prep" thing to be a little strange, but that was really it. Let me make it up to you....

...:::The Secretary of Justice has the Nessun Duma rough up a person of EvenflowDDT's choosing:::...

....better?

Allow me to congratulate my good buddy and OAOAST partner EvenflowDDT on his graduation!

For TC, Full Moon movies are movies made the Full Moon company.  Movies like Puppet Master, Blood Dolls, Demonic Toys, Castle Freak, and the like are made by this company.  'Flow and I seem to be the only 2 guys who are pretty into 'em around these parts.

Mark4Steamboat def. isn't weird, because he's like a Mini Malibu!

I don't think you're that weird. In fact, the State of America could use you too.

Ahhh... OK, this may be my only chance to ask this, but what's this whole State of America thing about? I'd be glad to accept any positions... ummm, provided they don't mind me taking an immediate two-week leave of absence starting next Tuesday ;)

Um, I think you suck, your columns suck and everything about you sucks.  Chopping Mall is cool though.

*Disclaimer: Everything said in this post should be taken with a shit load of salt.  Chopping Mall does rule though*

Thanks for the congratulations Zack.  Anyone else here recently graduated? I know Sandman9000 has, so congrats to you, OAOAT compadre (well, technically you're an ex-foe there, but you know how it goes) and fellow Class of 2002 graduate, and any others out there :)

As for Full Moon, Zack hit the nail on the head (?).  Full Moon Pictures is a direct-to-video movie production company started by Charles Band (Re-Animator, Dolls) in 1989.  They had a distribution deal with Paramount for several years, which gave them some pretty good movies, such as their flagship Puppetmaster series and Trancers (although the first in that series was released before the Paramount deal).  While these are most of the best Full Moon movies, it's unfortunate because now Paramount won't re-release them, nor give the rights back to Full Moon for re-release.  I hope that contract ends soon... so far, I know myself and Zack like them, but C.H.U.D. likes some of 'em too, though he likes Band's pre-FM stuff better (which is also understandable, even though I haven't seen a lot of it).  The majority of my reviews are of Full Moon discs simply because I have a LOT of them, as anyone who's seen my DVD Aficionado list can attest to.

Finally, anyone who marks for Steamboat can't be that bad... unless they're talking about Steamboat Willie.

It's the fascist state we're fantasizing about in the "Ask the Dictator!" thread. Would you like to be the Councillor of Music? You will control all musical pursuits within the State of America and its occupied territories, plus you get everything you could ever want for free as a member of the Cabinet and your own private seven platoon army to carry out any bidding you want in the music industry. We don't mind you taking a leave of absence, but we'll talk more in the other thread.

Fellows, fellows, we can create offices for all of you, but as Goodhelmet said in the "Ask Kinetic" thread, I need to keep this in one thread until it goes from small gang to large mob in terms of membership.

We can find something for both Mark4Steamboat and Dreamer420 if they wish. The perks are well worth loyalty to the Abbey Party and State of America.
