WWE SmackDown:June 13,2002: Announcers:Michael Cole and Tazz: From: Bi-Lo Center, Greenville South Carolina

 

-Since many others and myself are interested in Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanely Cup Finals,at every WWE SmackDown commercial break I will give you a Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Report.Go Hurricanes!!!

 

-The show begins with highlights from this past Monday's Raw

 

-Pyro Pyro Pyro!!!

 

-We begin with tons of security guards in the ring and Vince McMahon walks down and he is standing on a table and he is talking about his victory over Ric Flair this past Monday night on WWE Raw!!!He is talking about how it is to own WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown and how great it is to be among the upper class.He announces the Main Event for WWE King of the Ring and he introduces The Undertaker who will be defending his WWE Title against Triple H!!!Both men sit down for the contract signing,The Undertaker sits down and  signs the contract first it first and when Vince tells Triple H to sit down but Triple H throws the chair and then he signs the contract.After the contract signs the security guards hold Triple H down and The Undertaker begins to pumble Triple H but Triple H fights back and he starts to destroy on the security guards and The Undertaker, he then chases The Undertaker out of the ring with a sledge hammer and he says that he is not leaving until he gets The Undertaker back into the ring.Triple H gives the Pedigree to another security guard!!!

 

-Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Report:15:30 remaing in the 1st Period and it's the Hurricanes-0 and the Red Wings-0.

 

-We are back on WWE SmackDown and Billy,Chuck and Rico walk down but Triple H is in the ring and he tells them that if they go into the ring he is going to hit them with the sledge hammer and he nails the chair in Billy's hand with the sledge hammer which hits Billy in the head.Triple H is once again calling out Vince McMahon and he says that if Vince doesen't The Undertaker out there he is going to make sure there won't be a WWE SmackDown tonight and there won't be a WWE SmackDown in the future.He begins to destroy the announcers table,the table where the the time keep and others sit,he pumbles a time keeper and he talks into a camera that is up on a chair.Vince finally gives Triple H what he wants,not because of what Triple H wants but it's what the fams want.He says that tonight in tag team action it is going to be The Undertaker and Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H and Hulk Hogan!!!Triple H destroys a televsion monitor to finish his rampage.

 

-Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Report:11:30 remaining  in the 1st Period and it's Hurricanes-0 and the Red Wings-0.

 

-We are back and Michael Cole and Tazz talk about Triple H holding WWE SmackDown hostage.

 

-WWE King of the Ring Qualifying Match:Test Vs.Hurricane Helms:They show a confrontation between Hurricane Helms and Nidia from earlier tonight.Hurricanes push Test but Test just stands there but the Hurricane gains some mometum but Test fights back and he is dominating the match.Hurricane fought back and he attempts a choke slam but Test fiights back and has control of the match but not for long.Hurricane is dominating Test until,Test fights back and he hits with a modified version of his finisher and it's over.After the match Jimmy Noble and Nidia attack the Hurricane,dismask him and slap him.Decent match,*1/2.

 

-Game 5 of the the 2002 NHL Stanley  Cups Finals Report.5:30 remaining  in the 1st Period and it's the Hurricanes-0 and the Red Wings-0.

 

-The WWE Slam of the Week us Tajiri attacking Torrie and Maven last week in the hospital.

 

-WWE King if the Ring QUalifying Match:Tajiri Vs.Bob Holly:The vmatch begins with Tajiri dominating the match and Holly tries to fight back but Tajiri keeps the momentum.Holly fights back and now has control of the match.Holly fights back once again Tajirfights back and he is dominating the match but Holly fights back,he slams Tajiri and it's over.Not Bad,*3/4.

 

-They show Jericho in the back watching a tape of what he did to Edge two weeks ago on WWE SmackDown.

 

-A new WWE commercial,which isn't as funny as the one in the bar.

 

-Chris Jericho&Lance Storm Vs.Val Venis&Billy Kidman:We begin and Lance Storm has the upper hand on Jericho and he tags in Jericho who is dominating the match but Val Venis fights back and he is taking control of the match and Val and Jericho are going back and forth.Storm is in and Val Venis still has the upper hand and he tags in Billy Kidman and he is on a role but Lance Storm fights back and he now has control of the match and he tags in Jericho.Jericho is dominating the match and he tags in Lance Storm who is keeping the mometum for his team and he tags in Jericho and Jericho and Kidman are going back and forth but Jericho catches Kidman Kidman in a bulldog but he misses the Lionsault and Lance Storm is in and he is going back and forth with Storm and Kidman with the Shooting Star Slam but he only gets a two.Storm and Kidman go back and forth and Kidman rolls up Storm for the three count even though Storm's arm was up.Good match.**1/2.

 

-Hogan talks about teaming up with Triple H to take on Kurt Angle and The Undertaker and he talks about how Mother Nature took his hair,dude!!!

 

Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanely Cup Finals Report:1st Intermission and it's the Hurricanes-0 and the Red Wings-0.

 

-During the commercial break Lance Storm was complaing to Referee Brian Hebner,yes Earl's son.

 

-Linda talks about her fellow WWE Tough Enough 2 Winner Jackie turning on her and she introduces her new partner,WWE Women's Champion,Trish Stratus.

 

-Kurt Angle and The Undertaker are with Vince McMahon who both don't want to deal with Triple H tonight because he is acting crazy.

 

-Game 5 of the NHL Stanely Cup Finals Report:15:50 to go in the 2nd Period and it's the Red Wings-1 and the Hurricanes-0.

 

-Rev.D-von Vs.Faarooq:Rev.D-Von has pre match comments but Faarooq dominates Rev.D-Von and he gets the quick three count and it's over.DUD.

 

-Trish Stratus&Linda Vs.Jackie&Ivory:The match begins and all four are in.Trish Stratus and Jackie are going at it and Trish is dominating the match and now Linda is in.So we have fellow WWE Tough Enough 2 Champions going at it.Trish and Ivory are in in and Trish is dominating the match.Ivory has the momentum of the match but Trish fights back and she has the momentum and Trish with her finisher,the Bulldog and it's over.That was nothing.1/2*.

 

-Vince and Stacy are in Vince's locker room and there is some girl outside his door and he doesn't get the door and he smooches Stacy,who doesn't seem to like it.

 

-Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Report:5:00 remaining in the 2nd Period and it's the Red Wings- and the Hurricanes-0.

 

-Triple H is getting ready to team up with Hogan for there tag team match against The Undertaker and Kurt Angle.

 

-Hogan is walking to the ring and he gets destroyed by The Undertaker and Kurt Angle.

 

-Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Reoirt:3:00 remaining in the 2nd Period and it's the Red Wings-2 and the Hurricanes-0.

 

-The Undertaker&Kurt Angle Vs.Triple H&Hulk Hogan:Triple H attacks Kurt Angle before the match and then Triple goes after The Undertaker and Triple H is on a role.The Undertaker and Kurt Angle fight back and they have the advantage in the match.Kurt Angle is destroying Triple H and Hogan got destroyed in the back so he is not out there.Kurt Angle is in control of the match.Triple H is trying to fight back but Kurt Angle reamins in control of the match.Angle tags in The Undertaker and he has the upper hand on Triple H but Triple H is fighting back but The Undertaker keeps the upper hand and Kurt Angle is destroying Triple H on the outside.Triple H is back in and The Undertaker is still in control of the match and he covers Triple H but he only gets a two count and The Undertaker tags in Kurt Angle.Kurt Angle has the upper hand in this match but Triple H is trying to fight back.Angle tags in The Undertaker and he is going back and forth with Triple H and The Undertaker tags in Kurt Angle is Triple H takes control of the match and he is on a role and he is on the outside of the ring with Kurt Angle and The Undertaker.Triple H is destroying The Undertaker on the outside.Triple H hits The Undertaker with a sledge hammer and Triple H is DQed and he is still going at it with The Undertaker but out of nowhere Kurt Angle begins to destroy Triple and he hits with an Angle Slam.While Angle is celebrating on his way to the back Hogan attacks him from behind and Hogan and Triple are destroying Kurt Angle and on a reversal Triple H pulls done Kurt Angle's pants and Hogan takes of the wig and Triple H with a Pedigree followed by Hogan wih a Big Boot.Hogan and Triple H celebrate after the match!!!A good match,**1/4.

 

-Game 5 of the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Finals Report:2nd Intermission and it's the Red Wings-2 and the Hurricanes-1.

 

-Bottom Line:A lot happened tonight and I thought it was pretty good.They finally acknowledge the fact that Steve Austin walked out on the WWE.I think it is going to be an interesting couple of weeks and I hope WWE King of the Ring is going to be a good PPV,we will just have to wait and see what happeneds.

I agree that it was a pretty good show... my star ratings would be a little less for HHH vs Taker/Angle and Hurricane vs Test, and a little higher for the women's...

 

But like I said, a little. Good review.

First, I'll say that your review was pretty good.  You have a brevity in your style that makes things very easy to read.  I'm also going to offer some (hopefully) constructive criticism, so keep in mind that I'm not trying to be a dick.

 

1. Proofread.  "Jung if the Ring" is not the name of the PPV.  Word's spell-checker might let that go, but it's still good to read over what you write at least twice to catch any mistakes.

 

2. Lay off the exclamation mark.  HHH and UT at the PPV has been known for a while, and doesn't deserve the !!! treatment.  It doesn't even merit a tilde BANG~! at this point, really.

 

3. Learn the product a little better.  "Some girl outside his door" was Dawn Marie, for example.  A rather minor quibble, but you should always want your readers to think you know what you're talking about.

I watched ECW for a while,but not as much as I watched the WWF so I wasn't sure who it was,but hey I have been watching the WWF for 10 years,I know the product.I wanted to go back and change the WWE Jung of the Ring I remembered I didn't after I posted it.

Good review. Im pissed because i couldnt make it to the bilo center( they were 15 miles from my house) for the show and i missed seeing Kurt bald. Oh well. hogan has never stepped foot in SC and wouldnt with wcw on any shows other than nitro .He always complained that some of our bulidings were too small(he wouldnt come to a fucking stadium house show~!)

Why in the world would you want a higher rating for the women's match? Nowadays, all women matches in the WWF suck. They always have to show off their ugly, wrinkly bodies.
