Guest Ripper Report post Posted June 14, 2002 I still to this day have the bragging right to seeing that Michael Finley would be all-star when everone thought I was crazy. I still remember getting looked at like I was crazy when I said the best player in Toronto was Tracy McGrady while Vincemania was running wild...a few seasons later, T-Mac is the man. There are a lot more that I have went out on a limb and saw that spark that would make them great...Here are my picks for now. 1. Demarr Johnson-Atlanta - Mark my words...this kid will be a god of a player when he gets play after free agency. The kid has a great 3, long arms and can play defense, wonderful handles and can rebound. I see a future Tracy McGrady in this guy. 2. Richard Jefferson- New Jersy Nets- yeah, I know, he isn't that much of a secret any more, but he has so many skills that will be developed(his outside shot) he is already a great defender...the guy is going to be great. 3. Gerald Wallace: Sacramento- This guy has skills. He hasn't gotten alot of play time in the league his rookie year, but he has a amazing game around the basket and a GREAT mid-game which is a lost art in the NBA. 4. Al Harrington-Indiana Pacers, this is a big maybe because he had the knee surgery that might change his game. But he has worked hard the past few years and is going to be able to make a big impact. 5: Lorenzen Wright- Memphis Grizzles: Yeah, he has been in the league a while now, but he will be a 20 10 guy if he gets the play time. Guest ant_7000 Report post Posted June 14, 2002 I am Bulls fan so I'll give their players who will be good 1. Jamal Crawford: Micheal Jordan wanted him so bad after he lit it up in Jordan's comeback campaign at Hoops the Gym last summer. He got injured for most of the season but when came back he was impressive no wonder Jordan wants him. 2. Tyson Chandler: I was upset that they traded Elton Brand for him seeing him sit on the bench until Cartwright took over, and he's been amazing so far I mean the game against Lakers(aka Shaq swung at Miller) came out in that game he blocked Shaq's shot and I was loving it. Then the game againist the Knicks he looked too dominant he had 16 points and 15 Rebounds, I was sold on him after that game and I will say he's the Next KG just need to study him. 3. Al Harrington: Good Defender and nice offensive player he will be good if Reggie Miller will leave. 4. Richard Jefferson: Good defender freakishly athletic but won't shine until they move Van Horn. 5. Tony Parker: Not bad at starting at the Point at age of 19 if he shoots a little better and pentrate to the hoop more he'll be dangerous. 6. Mike Bibby: I knew about him in Vancouver I knew he was good, but I didn't think he was going to be a go-to-guy until the Lakers series. 7. Ricky Davis: I knew he had potenial and if the Cavs let him start they would be better, he's a Explosive Scorer
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted June 14, 2002 I've got my eye on Dajuan Wagner in this years draft. In a fw years he will be an awesome player. As a freshman at Memphis he basically carried the whole team.
Guest Report post Posted June 14, 2002 1. Devean George: He's going to be a player. That guy can really ball. He can hit the three and the fadeaway. He has a great 15-foot jumper, a rarity in the NBA. His jumping ability is incredible, he could be a very good rebounder from the 3 spot. His defensive footwork is also great. The Lakers better re-sign him... he could be like the next Pippen, but probably 10 times better. 2. Shane Battier: He's already solid after his first year. Jerry West as a mentor could drive this guy right to the top. He's fundamentally sound in every category. Can hit the three and drive the lane. Good defender, takes charges very well. Great free-throw shooter. 3. Mike Bibby: Ant hit the nail on the head naming this guy. Playing for the Kings finally gave this guy a chance to play in the clutch. And he certainly showed he could do it. Needs some work on the defensive end, but that's about it (stop clipping your nails mid-game). Offensively, he is the total package. He can drive to the hoop, hit the midrange shot, and hit the three. He pretty much made every clutch play for the Kings in the playoffs. They should trade Webber for a winner because this is Bibby's team now.

Guest bravesfan Report post Posted June 18, 2002 I'll just name 3 guys: 1.)JASON RICHARDSON 2.)JAMAL CRAWFORD 3.)RICKY DAVIS These ones are the players that are able to get playing time right now. Gerald Wallace is infinitely talented, but there's no way he'll be playing behind a King frontcourt that will be the "same ole same ole", until Peja or Divac retires. Q Richardson HAS to change teams to be recognized, or else he'll just fall in the same "flashy" category as Miles, Maggette or Odom.
Guest ant_7000 Report post Posted June 19, 2002 C: Keon Clark PF: Troy Murphy SF: Quintein Richardson I know he's a Guard but he could play Foward SG: Micheal Redd if he played for a different team PG: Jay Williams so what if he is little overated and he missed that free throw he's a born leader and is a hard worker
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 I think Mike Dunleavy Jr will have an impact in the pros, probably not right away but in the next 2-3 years I think Jamal Tinsley is great now and still room for much improvment. Just about all the young guys on the Clips, they could all be great superstars, there is a ton of talent. Odom, Q, Maggetti, Miles, Brand. Those are five pretty damn good players right there.
