Guest Bruin Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 I seriously think that Tim Couch is underrated.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 Sam Cowert. The dude had like 170 tackles in 12 games. Then he got injured for the last 20. The Bills aren't sure if they want to resign him...but they might resign Rob Johnson (who has started and finished a career 6 wins, and is more injury prone than anyone) That is underrated.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 The Bears' outside linebackers. Warrick Holdman was tied for tenth in the NFC in tackles this year (with Jeremiah Trotter) with 93, and Roosevelt Colvin had 10 1/2 sacks and two picks. Not bad for a couple of guys in Brian Urlacher's shadow. Cowart was on pace for 117 tackles in 2000. He's very good, but at the same time, he's only been on the field 13 games in the past two years. It's hard to be underrated when you don't play. (side note on the Bills: Rob Johnson's probably gone on June 2nd, no matter what. There's no way the Bills will pay him $11 million dollars this year. No way.) Thank you for mentioning Tim Couch, too. Couch WAS the Browns' offense last year, and the reason they had even the slimmest of playoff hopes. I think another year in that offense, and Ricky Williams (which looks like it might happen), makes Cleveland look goo-od.
Guest Redhawk Posted February 20, 2002 Report Posted February 20, 2002 I don't know if underrated is the word, but a lot of people don't give Ricky Williams enough credit for being as good as he is. I doubt he'll ever live up to the mass hype he had coming in. Plus, he's not really a media darling.
