Annabelle 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2007 did anyone read this story on espn? it covers the 86-90 period during which 4 broncos players died in a bus crash, coach graham james molested two, and the towns inability to address its demons. it is quite a fascinating read. living a few hours away, i was sort of disappointed by the negative undertones in the first few paragraphs. but as the story progresses, it is east to understand why the reporter articulates in that way. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/sto...ge=swiftcurrent
Guest Report post Posted April 10, 2007 My jaw has been dropped since I read this quote. How sad. "The idea that Graham James got us through the bus crash is insulting," Kennedy says. "We didn't rally around him. The players rallied. He had nothing to do with it. And he kept the professional help from the team because he didn't want anyone to know he was a sexual predator — keeping out professional help was his idea, not the players'. The idea of keeping the dressing-room door closed came from him.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2007 The whole Graham James saga is extremely disturbing. It's a shame that so many continue to turn a blind eye to what was going on.
