Guest Karnage Report post Posted June 14, 2002 You know how some stores have all these DVDs movies distributed by some really small company with crappy packaging right? Are there any good kung-fu movies that are like hidden gems worth picking up? At Wal-Mart, I always see tons of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies that are as low as six dollars. Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 15, 2002 as for Bruce Lee only get the DVDs from the big studios as the 20th anniversery Enter the Dragon by Warner Brothers. The smaller distributer like Madison or Grammercy or whatever it is has burned too many times with bad audio and even worse video with noticable scratches. But if its a documentary for $5 its worth a shot. The Jackie Chan early movies are good but are very cheesy, Half of Loaf of Kung Fu and Spiritual Kung Fu are so laughable just for being bad. Must haves are Drunken Master, Snake in Eagles Shadow, Fist of Fury II - Bruce Lee rip off. if its cheap than its probably a cheap copy unless its from a company you comfortable with.
