Triple H did the goofiest thing on Smackdown....

Recommended Posts

Guest NoCalMike

During the tag match when he recieved the "hot tag" from Maven, before he started pounding on Angle, he tagged in and quickly did his pose.  It looked so akward and funny, it caused me to burst into laughter instantly.  If you have smackdown on tape go watch it, it is hilarious and reminds of something I would have seen in the 80's

I think in part what makes it so silly looking is the fact that the way Triple H raises his arms is weird because he is so friggin' huge that he can't raise them fully above his head or something, maybe he just chooses to do it a different and quite frankly, goofy way.....nonetheless it was hilarious

That's good for a post-match pose on the ropes, but NOT for the match. He did for a while before he did the Pedigree, but it looks stupid as hell. HHH should just keep it as a post-match pose.

Yeah, since he has come back... he'll do that pose at the dumbest times.  I wonder how it is with his love life...

HHH - Suck-ah my dick-ah  *pose*

Stephanie - C'mon Hunter... not again

HHH - *pose* *pose*  Do it wench *pose*

Stephanie - No Hunter, let me ...

*kick to the gut, HHH poses*

That was hilarious. He shouldn't do the pose when the match is going on. Only before & after the match.

On a related note, I for one think HHH's ring work has sucked ass since his return. This can't be the same guy SK was giving out 4 1/2 and 5 star ratings too all thru 2000 can it? I know he's coming off an injury, but geez, he better get it together before Wrestlemania or it is gonna blow chunks, and I mean bad. When Austin came back in October of 2000, to full-time ring work I mean, not just TV, he had a great match at the beginning of December with Benoit, and a great match a couple of weeks after that with Angle. It took Austin, what, all of about 6 weeks to get back to having good matches again, so if he's not got his shit together in a couple of weeks, I'm really gonna be worried that he may be done as far as match quality goes.

He's done that since his return. During his comeback he'll do that stupid fucking pose and just look like the Ultimate Warrior or something.

I agree about his matches. Before he left he was my favorite wrestler since Shawn Michaels... now that he's back he's just been terrible in the ring, and how the hell is he a face with what he says and does? I'm with you, about 2 more months of waiting for him to return to form and then he can go to hell for choosing roids and a body over entertaining matches.

I suppose it's going to take him some time to realize that his new "strongman-pose" sucks. I mean, he obviously needed a replacement for the crotch-chop since DX is dead and Hall & Nash are too lazy to think of something new for them, but is that really the best he could come up with?

Maybe he should take posing-lessons from Steiner or Goldberg, since he seems to prefer the same brand of steroids. :)

You could just repackage HHH as the Warrior. Give HHH some face-paint, put those strings-things Warrior used to wear and have him go out there as the new Warrior. No, that's a bad idea.

He'll stop doing it now I bet.  Someone had to have told him after Smackdown that he looked like a total jackass.

Keith is very liberal in giving HHH those shift-8's (dats rite, i said shift-eights instead of *s).

HHH is very warriorish...He should talk to his hands...

Tha Bookerman already has copyright on the "staring at your own hand" gimmick.

Please don't say such things out loud. They could come true!

As for handstaring I think Jim-- uh-- Warrior Hellwig got that copyrighted 10 years ago...

You fools

He's not staring at his hands...he's counting his fingers.

5 time...5 time...5 time WCW champion sucka.

Anyway...HHH does suck a big donkey dick in the ring...and all the pro-HHH guys will say that he just needs time to work off the ring rust...

Well...I say that he should work off the ring rust somewhere other than the MAin Event at WrestleMania.

Ha. Warrior's hands were indecisive and off-putting. Get in the ring, get out of the ring, what?

Whereas the Hand of Tha Bookerman is in COMPLETE control. To the point where it gives him permission to unleash the Spineroonie. To the point where he must stop midmatch and pay homage to it per the hand's whims. The Hand of Tha Bookerman is a truly great, inspirational, whimsical, and awe-inspiring...er, thing.

Heh. If late night movies have taught me anything, it's that Booker's hand is possessed by Devon Sawa/Satan or a Deadite.

Hey...HHH is a big star and should be on the show because fans (though not quite as many as the WWF thinks) want to see him.

He is too big a star for curtain jerking.

He should have a feud with Angle or Taker AWAY from the Mania main Event.

No way should he be in the title match at Mania.

He isn't over enough...and quite frankly he isn't good enough.

I know that he is in a program with Angle now...but all roads for HHH lead to Mania...and that ain't right.

He may be too big of a star for curtin jerking, but they could put him in a feud with Goldust.

To be fair...the WWF doesn't seem to have a problem putting bigger stars than HHH in the curtain jerk position...RVD...Jericho...

I just thought of something. You don't think the WWF would considering having the WM main event be Stephanie's boobs vs. HHH?

JR: HHH with the Pedigree! Wait, The Boobs with a reversal! IMPLANT DDT! IMPLANT DDT! The cover! 1 2 3! Stephanie's boobs have pinned HHH!

I find it ironic that we're all now comparing HHH to the Warrior...

I remember at WM11 when Hunter jobbed to Warrior in less than two minutes, all the smarks of the time were moaning about Hunter being held down in a glass ceiling-esque way (this was before someone coined that term).

My, how the times have changed....

It was WM XII (12) when HHH did the quick job to the Warrior. Wasn't HHH going to be rewarded for jobbing, but screwed it up at MSG?

That was WrestleMania 12.

HHH can't even move as good as Warrior right now...so this is all a moot point.

I agree that HHH is crap right now but I don't necessarily blame him. I'm sure Vince was whispering in his ear while sticking the needle in his ass. In 15 years, we'll be referring to HHH as Billy Graham 2, and it's all because of Vince's perception of what a WWF star "should" look like.
