WWE Superstar injuries update

Triple H (elbow) - Dr. James Andrews looked at the MRI film earlier this week and feels that eventually bone chips will need to be taken out.

Mike Awesome (Right knee) -Mike was released to return to work and is currently in Cincinnati getting back into ring shape. He is currently scheduled to stay in Cincy until June 30.

Godfather (Neck) - He had a MRI done and it showed some degeneration problems and some slight swelling in a disc but no other major damage. Dr. Prohaska feels that once his pain subsides from the stinger he recently got, he will be fine to return to the ring.

Edge (Shoulder) - He continues therapy on his shoulder and should be able to begin normal lifting in a week or two and then be able to get back in the ring shortly after.

Chris Benoit (Neck) - He continues his in-ring workouts in Atlanta around the TV and appearance schedule. Dr. Lloyd Youngblood has said that he expects Chris to be able to return to full action by the end of June.

Maven (Leg) - He saw his doctor at home today and needs to continue wearing the air cast for three more weeks and will return to the doctor's office a week later. At his appointment this week, the doctor also found a bone chip from his fracture that is in his ankle. He has some swelling and will need some therapy but should not add time to his recovery. He broke his fibula on May 28, and is expected to be out about six weeks.

Kevin Nash (Biceps) - He saw Dr. Andrews earlier this week and would still like him to take it easy on his arm. Dr. Andrews expects him to be able to return to full speed in the ring in three weeks.

Referee Tim White (Shoulder) - His MRI showed a rotator cuff tear and he has been scheduled for surgery on June 19th. He is expected to be out three to four months while rehabbing.

Kane (Biceps) - He continues to rehab with lightweights at home and he is expected to be ready to return in about seven weeks.

Rhyno (Neck / Low back pain) - He will return to Dr. Youngblood in August and then be able to begin his in-ring rehab. His surgery was on November 2 and he was expected to be out close to a year.

Lita (Neck) - She is doing well and will be seeing Dr. Youngblood in about a month for a follow-up. At that time it's expected that she will be able to get out of the hard collar and begin using a soft one. Her surgery was on April 30 and she will be out about nice months before being able to do anything physical in the ring.

Sharmell Sullivan (Knee) - She continues her rehab in Louisville and at the end of the month will be moving to Houston for a few months and continuing rehab there. Her surgery was on May 2, and she is expected to be out four to six months.

Scotty 2 Hotty (Neck) - He saw Dr. Youngblood earlier this week and is now in a soft neck brace. Dr. Youngblood told Scotty that everything looks on target and he will return for another appointment on September 25. His surgery was on May 7, and he is expected to be out about one year.

Jazz (Knee) - She is doing well and continues her therapy at home. Her surgery was on May 16, and she is expected to be out four to six months.

Perry Saturn (Knee) - He went to the doctor's last week for a check-up and he is doing well. He returns for another appointment in the beginning of July and we should get a good indication of his return at that time. His ACL surgery was on April 9, and he is expected to be out four to six months.

DDP (Spine) - Dr. Swaid, from Birmingham, sent a letter this week stating that he would not recommend his return to the ring. As a result, DDP is retiring from in-ring competition. He will concentrate on a broadcasting career in WWE within the next few months.

Charlie Haas (ACL Surgery) - He has returned to Cincinnati and is doing well and has begun to start working out heavily. He is expected to be out until the end of June.

Mark Jindrak (Knee) - He goes back to the doctor on June 17, and should be able to return to his in-ring training at that time.

John Heidenreich (Shoulder) - He had the wire removed from his shoulder this past week and he is doing well. His rehab will start getting more vigorous and he should be able to return in the next month or two.
