Guest TheBigBadBootyDaddy Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 CurtainJerker Angle v. Jericho © Casket Match Sid v. Undertaker IronMan Match Stone Cold v. Mr Perfect WM8 Glory Match Savage v. Flair Hall & Nash V. HBK & HHH Holy Fucking God Best Match Ever "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan v. the Rock And I'm DEATHLY serious. I dont care if you smarks give a shit about fucking Edge and RVD, I will mark the FUCK out for this Card at Wrestlemania
Guest One Bad Apple Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 WM8 Glory Match That be a pretty dumb name for a match. I don't care about an Iron Man ... six matches is pretty skimpy to me. You can put that idea back in the file cabinet now.
Guest Pegasus Kid Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 CurtainJerker Angle v. Jericho © Casket Match Sid v. Undertaker IronMan Match Stone Cold v. Mr Perfect WM8 Glory Match Savage v. Flair Hall & Nash V. HBK & HHH Holy Fucking God Best Match Ever "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan v. the Rock And I'm DEATHLY serious. I dont care if you smarks give a shit about fucking Edge and RVD, I will mark the FUCK out for this Card at Wrestlemania Riiight... they're going to make the Undisputed Title the opening match. That's a "great" idea. Moving on we have Sid vs Undertaker, a match that has already proven to be terrible and in a gimmick that doesn't even suit Undertaker anymore. Moving on, we have a 37 year old with two bad knees and a bad neck vs a 43 year old that hasn't been able to pull off something very good - great in an extended setting in ten years. Throw in the fact the match goes a minimum of 30 minutes and you've got a forumula for diaster. Flair vs Savage would be OK. Savage is really lazy now, Flair is ten years old than the miracle match from last time and there's no heat between the two after the Liz storyline. Outsiders vs DX would be solid. No complaints. Hogan vs Rock will eventually happen and will main event a PPV so I can't really bitch about that either. I can just imagine the locker room morale if someone booked only main eventers on the biggest pay day of the year.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 uhhh no world title match aint going first sid cant even FRICKING wrestle geez My card: 1st Match: Fatal Fourway Elimination IC Match Wlliam Regal © vs. RVD vs. Goldust vs. Edge Final two come down to RVD and Edge, RVD goes over, Edge goes psycho 2nd Match: Tag Team Title Match Booker T & Test © vs. Hardy Boyz TNT retain, but have some problems 3rd Match: European Championship Match DDP © vs. Christian vs. Maven © Undertaker Interference leads to a Christian rollup w/tights on DDP, but also to our 4th match 4th Match: Hardcore Championship match Maven © vs. Undertaker Maven retains by debuting his first finisher Main Events, call how you will 5th Match: Outsiders vs. Rock/Flair 6th Match: Hogan vs. Austin 7th Match: Jericho © vs. HHH Any other matches can be thrown in , gimmicks and whatnot
Guest gilpdawg Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 Here's what I think the card will be: HHH vs. Jericho (maybe Angle to make it a triple threat) Rock vs. Hogan(please god no) Austin vs. Hall (if Hall has his working shoes on, could be good) Nash vs. aw fuck it, I don't know, Kane perhaps? Booker & Test vs. Hardys for tag belts Jazz vs. Trish IC-RVD vs. Edge vs. Goldust vs. Regal and then fill in the rest of the card with a lower-card matches, Christian and Storm vs. APA? Oh yeah, I forgot, Maven vs. Undertaker. If the Torch this week is correct, and Hall doesn't get fired between now and then (possible certainly) then I believe the Hall/Austin and Rock/Hogan matches are pretty much set. I have no clue what the fuck they are gonna do with the Breck Girl however.
Guest Greg Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 Casket Match Sid v. Undertaker I don't know, first we have someone who can't walk anymore in this match ... and Sid too. Greg
Guest gilpdawg Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 Casket Match Sid v. Undertaker I don't know, first we have someone who can't walk anymore in this match ... and Sid too. Greg Watching Raw=free Watching Wrestlemania=39.99 Watching Raw and Wrestlemania while making fun of the Undertaker=priceless. There are some things money can't buy, for everything else, there's the SmarkBoard.
Guest TheBigBadBootyDaddy Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 You guys all forget something about Hogan / Rock. This match goes BEYOND a title. It goes BEYOND Jericho / Angle. Would you rather watch 2001 King of the Ring quarterfinals, Or the two biggest Draws in the history of Wrestling go at it for the first time? Outsiders v. "DX"? That out-draws Over KoR quarterfinals glory too. And ANY match that we see with Mr. Perfect will GUARANTEED to be better than Jericho vs Anyone. And Sid.... IS THE FUCKING MAN.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 I'd rather watch Jericho/Angle
Guest Tony149 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 The show better be good. I don't care who's in the main event...as long as it's entertaining.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 The odds do not favor you Tony. HHH vs. Jericho won't be too great cause HHH is too rusty/big Any and all matches with the NWO won't be very good matches either. Either Spike & Tazz or Test & Booker will have the belts...so that match is crappy. All this and the potential of a Goldust/RVD rematch....
Guest Tony149 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 Yeah, the nWo matches won't be good wrestling wise, but the crowd heat should be huge for a Hogan/Rock or any other sort of match involving the nWo.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 Here's my dream card: WWF Title: Austin© v. Angle - yeah, it's been done a thousand times, and wouldn't draw because the fans are sick of it, and Austin's beaten Angle convincingly several times, but I still wanna see it again, dammit. They should keep wrestling until they hit *****, they've come close twice (SummerSlam, most recent Raw match) but the booking prevented it (non-finish, too short) HHH v. Jericho - Some Steph related feud, but she's not involved in the match at all, in any way. IC Title: Regal© v. RVD - RVD goes over, and brings some heat and credibility to the IC Title Tag Team Title: Spike and Tazz © v. Dudleyz in a Flaming Tables Match. Yeah, it'd be crap but The Dudleyz deserve a rematch, and the gimmick is the next logical step. All but Tazz have done Flaming Tables matches before, and he wears thick ring clothes, so he could take the bump if need be. They could even show footage of the old Dudleyz v. Spike and Balls Mahoney Flaming Tables Match. Cruiserweight Title: Tajiri © v. Kidman - give 'em 20 minutes. 'Nuff Said. Hardcore Title Career Match: Maven © v. The Undertaker - Winner gets the belt, loser retires. The build up could be that UT doesn't just want to hurt Maven, but keep him from ever wrestling again, even though Maven's still healthy, which would be even more emotionally painful for Maven. Of course, UT would have to job. And cleanly. European Title: DDP © v. Test - Hell if I know why. Just gives DDP something to do, and keeps Test from screwing up important matches. Christian and Lance Storm v. Edge and a mystery partner - Mystery partner is the Hurricane. Mr. Perfect v. Rikishi - Because they need to be on the card Tag Team #1 contender's match: Hardyz v. Billy & Chuck v. APA - no explanation necessary 6-man shoot match - Hogan, Hall and Nash v. Haku, Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn - Let's play kill the geezers! Heat: Big Show v. Kane in a 30 minute Iron Man match - Because it would be funny!
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 I'd rather see Hogan, Hall, Nash vs. UT, Kane, Big Show in an electric, exploding cage with C4 explosives that go off at the five-minute mark (since they'd all be tired at this point). that would solve any dilemma I have with the WWF. The biggest talentless slugs would be done! Throw Austin-rock-Angle in a 3way Dance Jericho-Lance Storm in an Ironman Match (we'd see if they're overrated or not. RVD-HHH and we'll see if RVD is being held down. Maybe RVD could accidentally give Trips one of those stiff kicks ala Goldberg and Trips can retire. Finally, throw in a cruiserweight Wargames and I'd pay $50 to see Wrestlemania
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 RVD-HHH and we'll see if RVD is being held down. Maybe RVD could accidentally give Trips one of those stiff kicks ala Goldberg and Trips can retire. If HHH ever got in the same ring as RVD, HHH would be screwed. Even if it was a tg match and they were partners...HHH would never recover as a face from the crowd chanting for RVD. What got the bigger reaction at the Rumble? RVD's elimination or HHH winning? RVD hitting the ***** or HHH hitting him with the pedigree? And this was HHH's big day. You all know the answers...the truth will set you free.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 I still get a kick out of the Rumble match. HHH got an ok pop, but the fans knew RVD was coming and they started getting rowdy. Then RVD comes out to a HUGE pop, hits the *****, then gets Pedigree. Booker got heat for throwing RVD out. Kinda funny.
