Scroby Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Hell has frozen over in the Land of the Extreme as Mr. McMahon defeated Bobby Lashley in their 3-on-1 Handicap Match at Backlash to become the new ECW World Champion. What will this mean to ECW? Will now-former champion Lashley have a response to this devastating defeat? It's no secret that the Chairman holds the ECW Originals - Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu - with disdain and believes the New Breed are the future of ECW. And the Originals were outraged and did not hide their distaste when Mr. McMahon won the title. On the next ECW on Sci Fi, the Originals will confront the new ECW Champion. The New Breed may have a new war on their hands with CM Punk. The relationship between Punk and Elijah Burke and the New Breed appeared to disintegrate last week when the straightedge Superstar cost them their match against the ECW Originals. Punk showed that he walks alone and follows no one. What will Punk have to say about his actions, and will the New Breed have revenge on their minds? Last week on ECW on Sci Fi, Snitsky continued his path of destruction by demolishing Balls Mahoney. Will anyone else be brave enough to stand up to the deranged ECW monster? Hawk 34 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Wow, that's........a lot of new shots of Vince McMahon and the Nitro girls in the opening. They edit the ECW video a lot. Burke got more face time in the current version then he had previously. Even took Punk's "screaming" image with the music.

That way, Khali has a promo guy, and after the Khali/Cena and Lashley/Umaga and McMahons programs are over, Khali and Umaga can become the New Colossal Connection.

The Rednecks although they can cut promos well enough would just outlandish enough with Estrada and Umaga.

Hawk 34 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 I'm pissed they didn't at least have Punk cut a "Haha, you got Punk'd" promo. Looks like the goodness of Punk+New Breed+Burke had the legs cut off in favor of the Originals against McMahons.
