Guest The Electrifyer Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 I usually job out the main event guys who are over before I release them. That way, I get other people over, I get them less over so no other promotions would want them.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Same here. I do the OVW thing when I want to release the majority of the dead weight, then I bury the main eventers I don't like, such as HHH and the Undertaker. I'll job them to everyone, and push them down one lever further every month until they're the only two openers in my company. Then I fire them. Oh, the more I play this game, the more I want to be Vince McMahon! He must have some fun... ...For some reason, Sophie wants Tajiri to hold every belt in the WWE. Hmm..
Guest El Satanico Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 I rarely use Undertaker either, but you really should use HHH in the game. Somehow everything he does is golden in the game. You wouldn't think he'd still be good after all the updates, but he is. HHH must help with the game and give the creators "ideas".
Guest Leena Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 HHH is better than his stats, but there's still 50 or so workers that are better than him, if you build them correctly.
Guest The Superstar Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Haha...try going to the EWR Message board (tanc-online.co.uk/ibf), and the Game Diaries section. It's hilarious what some people do in their WWE games. One person is using 11 belts: World, Tag, Intercontinental, Womens, Hardcore, European, Lightweight, Cruiserweight, Womens Tag, Intergender Tag, Divas...riiight.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 I think I'll make a promotion featuring everyone on TSM, and determine their stats by their posts (or post count). Dames will be our World Champion! Unless someone's already made a TSM scenario. I'm really lazy.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 ...For some reason, Sophie wants Tajiri to hold every belt in the WWE. Hmm.. Sophie is eating the Egg Foo Young. And Molly, Stacy, and Steph are more over then my world champ (Brock).... I got to be doing SOMETHING wrong.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Nah, you're not. Just make Molly into the world champion she deserves to be.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Jobbing HHH to Molly = RATINGZ~!
Guest The Electrifyer Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 Yes! I'm finally getting ratings of 6 or above in my 1997 WWF scenario. But damnit, Nitro is one hard show to beat, its getting 8's while all of WCW's other shows are getting 4's.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 3, 2002 Report Posted November 3, 2002 I have three people out with the classic "torn calf" injury. At once. That's just a little weird... Hurricane is my WWE champion, and boy, does that belt suck. I'm jobbing him to SCSA at the Rumble. Someday, my WWE champion will be Molly Holly as well. Unless she tears the calf... So has anyone ever had HHH tear his quad?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Hurricane is my WWE champion You rule... , and boy, does that belt suck. I'm jobbing him to SCSA at the Rumble. ...but not as much since you said that.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 I let him beat brock Lesnar, and this is what happened: · Brock's overness dropped two points · Hurricane's overness dropped a point (Bad finish? I guess) · The WWE title lost image Of course, that's my fault, 'cause I hardly had a feud going. Eh. Now I'm back to my real EWR game, which is the "Push Nowinski To The Top" game.
Guest Leena Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Haha...try going to the EWR Message board (tanc-online.co.uk/ibf), and the Game Diaries section. Most of them are boring, and the few rare good ones are pushed down behind the 13-year olds' split diaries.
Guest Leena Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 I jobbed HHH 11 times in 1 show, to my incredible talent "Friar Ferguson" with 0 over. HHH is now being sluggish in the ring since his morale is at 13. I feel like playing more now.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 Thank you Leena. Now I know what to do... (*cracks knucles*)

MaxPower, is there a site to get it, or can you hook up me up like you did for the '94 and '96 scenarios?
Guest redbaron51 Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 American Dragon vs Austin Lee got my first ***** match
Guest The Electrifyer Posted November 4, 2002 Report Posted November 4, 2002 ...I can't believe I forgot to get sponsors. Ouch... thats gonna cost you some money.
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 ...I can't believe I forgot to get sponsors. Ouch... thats gonna cost you some money. I was wondering why December was such a bad month for WWE.. Then I remembered I had no sponsors... It's now WrestleMania, and I still haven't recovered. Our ratings are slipping, too. We're getting around only 6000 people for RAW. But Survivor Series got a 1.38 buyrate. We made something like four million dollars from PPV buys (I think). Then, the next show sucked. I hate AutoBooking sometimes.
Guest Kingpk Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Anyone know when EWR 2.0 is coming out? I had a kickass SurSer with Benoit vs. Rock, RVD beating HHH for the World Belt and Angle vs. Taker in the Cell. My lowest rated match was **1/2 for Brock-Hogan, which I stupidly put at the top of the card which made the fans expect more and I had them shake hands at the end, which confused the crowd.
Guest Leena Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 EWR 2.0 is supposed to be out about Christmas.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Yes! MaxPower, is there a site to get it, or can you hook up me up like you did for the '94 and '96 scenarios? I got 1989 off of Here I can give you: 1989 1993 (SUCKS) 1994 1996 2001
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Yo Max, I'll take '96. Where did you get it?
Guest MaxPower27 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Yo Max, I'll take '96. Where did you get it? I don't even remember. I can send it to you, if you want STRITEC
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Yeah, okay. '96 was the year I started watching wrestling; I'd love to recreate it in whatever way. So does "STRITEC" count as a nickname? It reminds me of "Stridex", and those Stridex ads that featured HBK in 1996. Go figure, eh?
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 http://ravexgames.ewessentials.co.uk/ewrscenarios.html pretty much every year except 95. oh and everyone NEEDS to download the Best Of 80's scenario. It fucking owns.
