Now i am broke, jobless, got dumped and will probably be homeless in about 3 weeks....oh the days when threesomes with boney chicks and bad knees were my biggest worry.

I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, I eat moderately well, and I jog daily, but I'll still die early. Bummer.

 

I feel like I'll be the opposite of you.

I'm 29, and turn 30 in late August. I'm not bothered by it at all, and might even look forward to it as the months go by. There seems to be a modicum of respect on a professional level that goes toward the guy in his 30s as opposed to the guy in his 20s. On a personal level, the change in age won't mean anything to me. I have friends in their 30s, and friends in their 20s. To me, the positives outweigh the negatives.

 

As for this point in my life, I am very happy. I have a good job at the management level and lots of room to move up quickly. I have been dating the same girl for over 3 1/2 years, and we have lived together for over 2 1/2 years. I have a blossoming business on the side that allows me to save a little more than usual. And, I have a good balance of work, working out, and leisure activities going on. Right now, life is pretty good.

Somebody should start a thread for people older than 35. Although I guess not many people would post in it.

Us over 35ers don't know how to start a thread.

I'm 25; grad student working on my second master's; married; super healthy. I'll probably kill over sometime next week.
