Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 White male, around 6 feet tall, 190 pounds. Possibly wearing green & white & black wrestling attire, face paint, and a cape. Possibly in the company of a white female wearing pink & black wrestling attire. Known aliases: The Hurricane, Gregory Helms, Sugar Shane Helms. Heard to be saying "Whassupwitdat?" frequently. Last seen getting over on WWF television. If seen, please contact WWFE, Inc. ...seriously, though, where's he been lately? Jobbing to Scotty on Heat? I guess being from WCW on getting over weren't acceptable.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 The Hurricane is making "noise" on Jakked & Heat.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 ***Scott Hall finger wiggle*** Oooooh! The guy was getting pops on Raw, and suddenly they put him on the lesser shows. Guess we gotta make sure we get Goldust on TV.
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 Give the Hurricane time, and let him pay his dues. He'll be huge someday.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 He's been in the fed for just about a year already. He was getting cheers on the bigger shows (Raw & Smackdown). How long does it take to "pay his dues"?
Guest DrEvil Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 Why exactly does he have to "pay his dues"? He has all the talent he needs, so he doesn't need to pay his dues in the minors. He's over with the crowd, so he doesn't need to pay his dues on lesser shows to get name recognition. He has a recognized gimmick, so he doesn't need to develop one. Only reason I can see for him paying his dues is so that guys who've been around for a while don't get pissed about the push a new guy is getting.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 He's not getting a push because he's a crusierweight. Unless the WWF gets serious about a crusierweight division (Yeah right), Helms will be stuck on Heat & Jakked. Which an appearance on Raw & Smackdown here and there.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 16, 2002 Report Posted February 16, 2002 The way I see it...the only thing that you need to pay your dues for is the World Title. Since the Hurricane isn't likely to win that....ever....I think he should be on Raw and/or Smackdown everyweek....because he is over. He is another person who could be extremely more over than HHH with half as much TV time.
