***IWA MIDSOUTH INVITES ELITEPRO TO TPI WEEKEND***

 

 

The Iron Saints won the first ever IWA MidSouth Chris Candido Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Along with becoming the first tournament winner, the Saints also became IWA MidSouth Tag Team Champions for a third time. The Iron Saints are now holders of the ElitePro and IWA MidSouth Tag Team Titles.

 

After the tournament, IWA promoter Ian Rotten announced that he was inviting ElitePro Wrestling to hold a show on Sept. 29 during the afternoon before Night 2 of the Ted Petty Invitational, which is IWA's biggest show of the year.

 

Clearly, ElitePro could not be happier with this announcement and we're very eager to show indy fans from across the country what ElitePro has to offer. Stay tuned to EliteProWrestling.com for match announcements.

***FIRST MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR ELITEPRO SAT TPI***

 

 

ElitePro officials have been trying to find a matchup that might pique the interest of the IWA MidSouth fans and the indy wrestling fans that will be in town for TPI Weekend (Sept. 28 & 29). They think they've found one.

 

On Sept. 29, ElitePro will hold a match that has never happened...ever.

 

IWA World Light Heavyweight Champion

One-half of the IWA MidSouth World Tag Team Champions

VITO THOMASELLI

vs.

One-half of the IWA MidSouth World Tag Team Champions

SAL THOMASELLI

 

ElitePro wants to find out which of the Thomaselli brothers is the best of the bunch. But, ElitePro officials are not ignorant enough to believe that the Thomselli's will wrestle this match on the up-and-up without proper supervision. So, a special referee has been assigned for this match. This referee would have to be someone that the Thomaselli's both respect and somewhat fear. In the end, it was a no-brainer who should be given the job of keeping the Iron Saints on task.

 

ElitePro has signed IWA MidSouth promoter and the Undisputed King of Hardcore, IAN ROTTEN, to preside over this unique matchup.

Expect the ElitePro Showcase to begin at 1pm. There will be at least 5, possibly 6, matches. The plan is to be done by 3:30-4pm, giving IWA MidSouth as much time as possible to let the building clear and get situated before opening the doors for TPI Night 2.

 

It will be a separate ticket from IWA MidSouth, but all seats are $10

EliteProWrestling.com received a memo from the ElitePro offices this evening, informing us that a second match has been signed for the ElitePro Showcase scheduled for the afternoon of Sept. 29 in Midlothian as part of IWA MidSouth's TPI Weekend.

 

ElitePro has reached an agreement with IWA MidSouth promoter Ian Rotten to hold a special 8-man tag team challenge. Four of ElitePro's best talent will compete against four representatives from IWA MidSouth as a sort of measuring stick for ElitePro.

 

In the weeks leading up to the match, both ElitePro and IWA MidSouth will reveal their team members.

 

ElitePro has made their first selection and decided that current ElitePro Champion, Chase "The Face" Richards, will represent the company.

 

In response, IWA MidSouth has selected current IWA World Heavyweight Champion, Chuck Taylor, to represent their company.
