Austin comes back with Bischoff?

Recommended Posts

I still keep seeing every now and then someone suggesting the whole Austin thing is a work and will somehow lead up to him coming back with Eric Bischoff to have him take over RAW. I, for one, don't see it happening.

First of all, Austin would have to forgive a lot of bad blood to work with Bischoff. (And he refused to work with guys he had less hatred for) Bischoff fired him via Fed Ex, refused to push him, etc... why the hell would Austin (who apparently has enough stroke to pick who he wants to work with... and in the past who he wanted to job the title to) chose Bischoff to to be the man he picks to run the RAW brand? It would make a lot more sense that he would pick someone he actually liked, or at least someone we didn't already know he hates... either Mick Foley, or Paul Heyman, or hell, even Shane McMahon (we're talking real-life, not storyline friends)... someone who would make sense as an owner. Hell, he could have even chose to work with Linda and take control of RAW for himself... all of those would make more sense then Bischoff.

Bischoff in the WWE would also bring back lots of heat with other former WCW guys... Jericho, Raven, etc, and give more power to the Kliq and Hogan. Not to mention Vince doesn't seem to lie anyone who ever beat him in the past, and him taking over the RAW brand would probably just lead to Vince burying RAW in some way.

The sheer stupidity of bringing Bischoff into the WWF is just so ridiculous, that if that's the best payoff they can give to an "Austin walked out" angle, and I, for one, am convinced that the whole thing was a shoot from the beginning.

Not to mention that Austin now allegedly is a wife beater. What kind of double standard would VInce be setting if he keeps a wife beater at Main Event level, when he fires other guys for DWI.
