Guest muzanisa Posted June 16, 2002 Report Posted June 16, 2002 Last night on the talk wrestling show in the UK the president of UFC offered Frank Warren ( Used to part manage Tyson plus Hamed and Benn) a quarter of a million pounds if one of his boxers (he maanaages some okay ones including a couple of champions) could last with a MMA guy. Very good grandstand challenge with a chance of an answer.

There's no way Frank Warren would ever take him up on the offer, his slating of UFC in the press was merely intended to run down the credibility of an organisation that could potentially compete for the same type of audience that watches boxing. He knows the comments he made were absurd and unfounded, there's no way he'd be prepared to really go through with something like this because the chances are he'd end up with egg on his face.
