chirs3 Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 There's a curious lack of material in my inbox, so anyone up past their bedtime waiting for the show should probably just hit the hay now. I'll wake up extra early tomorrow (translation: I'll only hit the snooze button once, not twice) to get what I can up before work. The good news is I have next Thursday off, so if we push the next show to Thursday again, there's a (remote) chance that the show could actually go up on time!!!!~!~!one
Sly Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Sorry, I was invited out to get coffee with friends so I didn't get home until just now. I'm going to pull an all-nighter, so we'll see what happens.
Toxxic Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Having spoken to Tom, it transpires that Sly was not the only one with a reason for not having marked. These things happen, I guess. And it allows me to hold on just a little longer to the idea that we may have beaten W&D.
chirs3 Posted July 7, 2007 Author Report Posted July 7, 2007 Apologies - blame my Fasaki stomach for the delay. What I've got is going up momentarily. The tattered remnants of what I'd hoped would be a card will follow at some point.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 In case we didn't make it clear in that promo, yes, we do want a title defense for this week's Storm... And next week... and so on. We're going the whole nine yards with the "fighting champions" thing, and we want to defend the belts on every show, basically until we don't have the belts anymore. Even if that means that we have to defend against R-0, like, a hundred times... So... no ME?
Toxxic Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Unsurprising. Clark's dropped off-radar due to RL shit, and Kibagami had a sinus infection.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Are we using "sinus infection" as a euphemism?
Toxxic Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Not as far as I know. He informed me he was sick and was giving thanks for the kung-fu marathon that had kept him company.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 The fuck? I missed a kung-fu marathon?
Toxxic Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 I think he was referring to his own collection of videos. I could be wrong. Or then again, he could just have been hungover. I doubt that Kibs would feel the need to lie about that, though.
Guest step up, ghetto blaster. Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 this week has been Kung Fu Week on Spike TV, and thank the Christ for this. and yeah, I was actually sick for once. lame. WC - Enter the Dragon is on at 7 EST, I think.
