First of all, the WWE is on the ropes. If WcW were still around, they wouldn't even have to put on a half decent show to get viewers. Now I'm not one to point fingers, but Vince doesn't have any control over certain people in the company.

1) Shawn Michaels - Confessed to screwing  Bret Hart - felt quite proud about it - can go off in huffs all he wants and not get fired - allowed to do shoot segments - an all round bastard who has gone WAY done in my estimation.

2) HHH - becoming like Michaels - Vince's little boy - never jobs cleanly - is Vince scared to ask him? - Poor in the ring recently - Sucking McMahon for all he is worth by screwing about with Stephanie - a woman he probably doesn't love.

3) X Pac - still in a job - despite public knowledge of drug tampering - refuses to job - thinks he's better than he actually is

and finally, the biggest bastard of them all......

4) Steve Austin - arguably one of the most talented of all time - beat Debra - big bully - refuses to job cleanly - walks out if things don't go his way - God Damn it, Steve. Why did you do it? If this is a work, it would have to be the most sickening of all time and people WOULD finally turn off the WWF.

Having an opinion about whether or not someone is a good wrestler is one thing.  Arbitrarily deciding, based purely on the most wild speculation, that someone who you don't even know but dislike based on reputation doesn't love his girlfriend and is only using her is quite another thing entirely.  I mean come on.

You make it sound like Michaels did a shoot on Bret Hart. Shawn did exactly what Vince told him to do. If anything, your theory might be more valid if he hadn't followed Vince's directives.

He's been suspended many times. Don't forget that at the time Michaels was acting childish, WCW was still a force and Vince wouldn't want him jumping ship, so in effect he punished him more by not firing him. And Vince certainly forced Michaels to stew on the sidelines before bringing him back this time.

Am I the only one that notices how much time X-pac spends looking at the lights.  The guy is always jobbing.  He through a hissy fit because he was going to have to job twice in one night...so he got it changed and only had to job once.  How many other wrestlers have the "expected to job twice in one night problem" .  Not saying he's a great guy or anything, but not jobbing isn't exactly a good argument for it.

I was going to post this last night before my cable cut, but here goes.

 

This is really beginning to tick me off.

Oh, god. Michaels is SO BAD because he said one negative thing about the Rock. I'm sure Rock is shaking in his boots at the awesome power of the Leader of the Clique, and all around good buddy of the devil himself, Shawn Michaels. Yeah. I'm sure HBK will go out to Hollywood, and use his backstage pull to ruin the Rock's movie career. I'm sure that one comment is just gonna crush Rocky's entire career. Poor guy.

 

Do we realize how stupid that 'allowed to do shoot segments' bit sounds? Personally, that promo did what it was supposed to. They needed to strengthen the nWo and turn Book face. Well, it did. Booker's out of the nWo, and probably better for it.

 

Yeah, he 'screwed Bret Hart'. Boo hoo. Bret was on the way out anyway. So, what? He's retired from ringwork. What does it hurt him for admitting to it? It dosen't. It was a bad situation. Was he going to tell Vince 'no', knowing what he was going to do to Bret? HAH! That would have been career suicide, that's for sure.

Here's something. Very few main eventers job cleanly. Wow, what a suprise! A scheming, plotting bunch that dosen't want anyone else to get their heat (Rock is the exception). Don't blame HHH for that. Blame him, and Austin, and the Undertaker, Hogan, and so on. Lotsa people do it. Not just your Kliq whipping boy. Oh, god. He's sleeping with Stephanie! Well, damn his soul to hell! He shouldn't SLEEP with anybody! That's just a crime now, isn't it?

 

Yeah, she's the head writer. He's a wrestler. It's a way of 'protecting his spot'. Something like lots of other main eventers do, too. Hell, if it was fair for Austin never to look weak, and still be the main focus of the fed what's the difference between him and HHH? That's right. Trips is Satan. No, it's not right..but if you want to point fingers, then you'd better start now. You've got a lot of people doing that.

 

I agree with the ringwork bit. He's too big, and came back too early. That's something 'backstage pull' didn't cause.
