Guest Report post Posted June 17, 2002 I just saw Survivor Series 2000 for the first time, and I gotta say K-Kwik was awesome (for the minute he was in there, anyway). I had stopped watching wrestling back in 99 and came back late last year, so I don't know anything about this guy. He wasn't fired, was he?
Guest DrainYou42 Report post Posted June 17, 2002 He was released, the WWF wanted ownership of his rap name (K-Krush) and he didn't agree with that so he was released.

Guest Report post Posted June 17, 2002 He was released, the WWF wanted ownership of his rap name (K-Krush) and he didn't agree with that so he was released. He's mentioned that in interviews, but I think it had very little to do with why he was released. Basically, the guy wasn't over. He injured his ribs, was gone for a few months, came back, and was even less over than before. He then injured his ribs again, and, rather than be brought back when he recovered, they dropped him. One can argue that the WWF didn't give him enough time to get over, but they gave him a decent push before the first rib injury, and the crowd didn't respond. Can't say that I blame them: "rapping wrestler" is a terrible gimmick, and, in my opinion, K-Kwik was a lousy rapper. Before Road Dogg pulled the Scott Hall act that ultimately led to his dimissal, he had been tag teaming with guy. Whether or not Dogg's termination hurt Kwik's chances of getting over remain to be seen, but I doubt it.

Guest Ripper Report post Posted June 17, 2002 He is no doubt on the indies somewhere doing really bad handsprings and blowing dropkicks. The guy just wasn't that good.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted June 17, 2002 He was green, but after being polished in OVW or Memphis (at the time) a bit more, he could have been better. Of course, the WWF failed to put any faith in him after Road Dogg left, as he went from his babyface updated Men On A Mission act to a heel (albeit briefly, because he was inured shortly thereafter) with no real motivation behind a turn. Hopefully if the NWA is serious about creating new stars in wrestling, they may put a little more effort into K-Kwik (Krush) than the WWF did.
Guest Report post Posted June 17, 2002 He's sipping Woolite in a Memphis gutter with the Road Dogg

Guest Report post Posted June 17, 2002 Hell, I like him. He seemed to be at least sorta over until they paired him with Road Dogg. That was just a kiss of death.

Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted June 19, 2002 K-Kwik wrestled in OVW and Dark Matches for part of 2000 as K-Krush. He was brought up to team with Road Dogg, who in a few weeks was sacked for being friend swith Jack Daniels and Mary Juana (canned laughter). After that they made him a Jakked wrestler and that was that. He's in the NWATNA PPV as K-Krush tonight.
Guest Invader3k Report post Posted June 20, 2002 jtronx..."a little over until they paired him with Road Dogg?" I thought in his debut he was already sort of teaming with Road Dogg? I could be wrong, but I seem to remember seeing him debut on Sunday Night Heat, sitting backstage working on a rap or something with the Dogg. Anyways, it was pretty lame. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 I think they met up at WWFNY during a Heat and then they rapped together or something and the tag team was formed. I know that after Dogg left K-Kwik wrestled on his own for awhile, rapping himself to the ring, before getting injured and eventually fired.
