The girl is a dumb bitch who we both hate, and she contacted me last night about the deposit, resulting in the dumbest conversation I've ever had. Laura: parker L: hey L: i need to talk to you Parker: hi L: k L: you are getting a new roommate L: dont give chris the deposit back L: give it to me L: its mine P: except that is illegal for me to do L: i mean- the new roommate should have to give a deposit L: so that should go to me L: i am never going to get my money back P: if you paid chris' deposit, then you have to get it back from him L: yea i know P: my new roommate's deposit is not going to you L: thanks parker L: thats way fair P: dude L: that i will never get it back P: do you realize what you are saying right now P: look L: and he will no get 1800 dollars that isnt his L: thanks a lot P: sorry that chris fucked you over L: bye L: 900 dollars from me L: and 900 from you P: but it is a) illegal for me to give you money that i am contractually obligated to give him and, b) also not going to happen that you get my new roommate's deposit L: he is backing out of a contract L: that voids him getting the deposit back L: P: no, no it does not P: there has been an amendment to the contract P: and my parents are taking control of the lease P: so it's up to you to get it back P: not us P: sorry that you lent chris the money, but there's nothing i can do. period.
