Ive heard its called Vice and set in Miami (ive also heard that the rumor about that is false, but oh well) personally id like to see: online play one of the ongoing moneymakers (like taxis) be participating in a "fight club" where you earn more money the longer you last. Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted June 17, 2002 They confirmed that it's called GTA: Vice City. It won't really be set in Miami. The city will be called Vice City which is the name of a city from the original GTA(so was Liberty City) and it will be simialar to Miami. They expect an October 22 release. I heard it may have motorcycles which I don't think would really add anything. I also heard you may be able to go into a few of the buildings which should be fun. It's going to be set in the 80s and it deals with glamour, power and corruption. I don't know of any big gameplay enhancements. They said there will be screens and info in July. Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted June 20, 2002 It's an entirely new game, but people think it may be related to parts of GTA3. Possibly involving the rise to power of Donald Love and Love Media. Liberty City Survivor was actually planned for GTA3. If you go through all the files(if you have the PC version) then you will notice some files about networking and multiplayer and stuff like that. I believe it was part of the reason it took so long to bring over. It was taken out for some reason. Possibly because it wasn't that good or because it was too big.
