Is there a comp tape for her?  If not what are some must see matches?  Just trying to root up some information again.

If there is a good one floating around, I haven't seen it.  There's probably an FMW release somewhere that's clipped, but I can't say for sure.  For what I've seen of her, the tag w/ Combat vs. Toyota/Yamada at Dream Slam is very good, and her match vs. Aja on 12/6/93 is criminally underappreciated.  Good things have been said about a street fight she had with Ozaki in April '97, but I forget the exact date.  Her street fight vs. Combat on 5/5/96 is also allegedly good.

The match with Ozaki is horribly clipped down to about a minute but looked fantastic with great heat and big moves.

The second really is the best Death Match I've ever seen. There's just so much more wrestling going on in that match than any other garbage match I've seen.

Actually, I think there's about a half-full version of the Ozaki match.  I know DEAN has that on his Joshi Addiction comp; you might want to e-mail him and find out where he got it/what tape it's on.

this may be a stupid question, but in regards to comps who is DEAN and who is Lynch?  They've both been mentioned previously

DEAN is Dean Rasmussin (sp?), international wrestling god over at the DeathValleyDriver board.  Lynch is Jeff Lynch, probably the most highly-regarded tape trader around.

Oh, and Kudo rocked, it was a shame that she was stuck brutalizing herself in FMW for so long.  I don't think there are any comps of her, but you could probably pay someone to put one together for you.

Half full verson? I'm so there:).

But I distinctly remember reading something specically regarding Dean's comp (which I own, btw). From Deathvalleydriver.com under Dean's comps, Joshi Super Addiction Comp #1:

"Megumi Kudo vs Mayumi Ozaki (Barbed Wire Match) FMW 4/18/97: Most footage I've ever been able to find of the fabulous deathmatch between Kudo and the QUEEN of the Deathmatch, Mayumi Ozaki.  OZ looks so fucking hot when she is dressed to perform the Death Match.  The ripped jeans, the Navy Seals t-short- RoRRROwwwwRR!"

If *that's* that most footage that Dean has been able to find, I think Dean would be the wrong guy to ask...

I...don't think that's all the footage Dean found...but that should be a given, not something I should have to say...

check out the FMW DVDs, rent them if you can, the only must buy is the Death Match featuring the Kudo vs Combat and Cactus Jack vs Wing Kanemoto is also on the DVD.

for something different try the ICP Stranglemania tapes, the clowns mark out when Combat made a sick head bump!!

I'm sick of the mind games from all you "puro elistists".

So what context did Dean say that it was the "most footage" he was able to find in relation to the comp. I mean, I quoted what he wrote right from his comp description. Why would he talk about footage and not include it on the comp? Makes little sense to me.

Mind games?  Huh?  I'm using my head, so that's a game?

The quote has 2 separate ideas to it:

Idea 1: "This is the fullest footage I could find of this match."

Idea 2: "Mayumi Ozaki is hot and minky."

Now, you tell ME where, in his comments, it says that the fullest footage he could find is *fuller than other copies of the footage* because of the presence of a longer look at Ozaki's outerwear?  The fact is, it doesn't; they're mutually exclusive. I pointed this out, and it's hardly my fault if you struck out faster than Rob Deer on the notion.  So please, drop hackneyed, juvenile phrases on some other thread, preferably one where you can keep up with what's being discussed rather than looking for a chance to cut a promo on all of us who use our heads.

Kudo matches i'd recomend getting, some of which have allready been mentioned

Manami Toyoda/Toshiyo Yamada vs Megumi Kudo/Combat Toyota from AJW Dream Slam 1

Manami Toyoda/Toshiyo Yamada vs Megumi Kudo/Combat Toyota from FMW 5/5/93 (only one I haven't seen yet but i've heard it's good)

Kudo vs Aja from AJW 12/6/93

No Rope Barbed wire match

Kudo vs Shark Tsuchiya from FMW, don't know the date

Exploding No Rope Barbed wire match

Kudo vs Combat Toyota(her retirement match) from FMW 5/5/96

Exploding No Rope Barbed wire match

Kudo(her retirement match) vs Shark Tsuchiya from FMW, don't know the date

These three are all available on FMW's Tokyopop commercial video and DVD releases:

"No Rope Barbed wire match

Kudo vs Shark Tsuchiya from FMW, don't know the date"

On Torn to Shreds which also has a forgettable tag match for Kudo completists.

"Exploding No Rope Barbed wire match

Kudo vs Combat Toyota(her retirement match) from FMW 5/5/96"

On King of the Death Match.

"Exploding No Rope Barbed wire match

Kudo(her retirement match) vs Shark Tsuchiya from FMW, don't know the date"

On Yokohama Deathmatch.

You have to put up with the really annoying American commentary, but the picture quality is perfect, so it's worth it in my view.

There's also a really good tag(around 4*, i'd recomend tracking this down too) on the Ring of Torture tape as well.

Megumi Kudo and Aja Kong vs Bison Kimura and Combat Toyota

To Chris.

About the "mind games". I figured by quoting Sean Shannon you'd be able to tell I was joking...

But on the other hand, is there some unwritten rule that says you have to answer every post with a "Comic Book Guy" from the Simpsons smart ass response?

I'm sorry, but no one passed me out a puroresu handbook that states that I'm an idiot if I can't decifer Dean's comments on Oz/Kudoh.

Really, lighten up. Mabye it would be more productive to actually find out where this elusive half-full verson is rather than get into a pissing contest.

To simplify on the Dean issue: I'll email him myself and find out.
