Just a fantastic book that's really done wonders for characters like Winter Soldier, Falcon, and Sharon Carter.

This is a bad comic book. But it's only got two more issues.

I don't like this comic all that much, but its got Endangered Species in it. The earlier issues of this series I thought were much better.

Hmm, I was gonna start a thread like this, but laziness/ my inability to read my comics in a decent time after I get them (&not getting them until about a few days later) stopped me. I'm glad UTSHU did.

 

A shockingly small week for me this week, though I do need to pick up last weeks comics still.

 

APR071884 WALKING DEAD #40 (MR) $2.99

Probably one of the best books on the market, even if Kirkman's usual summer delay gets in the way of it. It's also brushed aside alot of possible big scenerios

coming back to the camp to find it over run by zombies could have been an excellent "how this happend/what happend story" others story, which was cleared up in less than half the next issue. Even last weeks rundown with the town was quickly resolved.

. I feel the delays has probably hintered expanding the world more. trying to not get two off point. Really, this comic would really work well with bi-weekly/ weekly runs, but then might end up getting a bit to full of filler.

 

JUN072185 SUPER VILLAIN TEAM UP MODOKS 11 #2 (OF 5) $2.99

The first one was alright, and I'm a completist so i'll collect the rest. I'll be interesting to see where it goes.

 

I might consider picking up the Booster Gold comic, and I'll probably have to pick up an annihilation saga for a friend

- Loved Booster and his stuff in 52. With Geoff at the helm, I'm very interested in seeing what will happen.

- This has been a fun series to read. I don't think I'll stop reading now.

- This is a surprisingly good series. A good pickup.

 

JUN070185 CHECKMATE #17 $2.99

- Best thriller series out there. Just fantastic writing and characterization, along with great plots and subplots.

- I agree, it's getting better. Hopefully it'll be more like the last issue, which had much better pacing than usual.

- Last week wasn't too good, but this one seems to be more in the vein of the first issue. If this isn't good, then I'll probably drop it.

- Another underrated series. Gotta love any series with a smart-talking chimp.

- This is the one of the best written books out there, and the main character has been dead for HOW long? Just amazing.

- Good price, good action, smart writing. Worth the pickup.

Haven't gotten this weeks comics yet (they don't get released over here till thursday) but it seems Walking Dead isn't out this week. That comic is cursed in the summer.
