That's the link to the story. I was out of town until just tonight, and since I don't watch the news, I probably wouldn't even have known this happened. Never saw the dude or the girl, although this is presumably because they lived way up on the second floor, probably smoking meth and/or weed the whole time. I live two floors below, in the semi-basement (it's the ground floor on the street level, but basement below). Of course, ghosts tend to haunt these sorts of places, so I'm looking forward to a bloody tweeker ghost of a young girl standing over my bed in the middle of the night as well.

What I'm most curious about is if you actually believe in ghosts. I don't believe in anything even slightly spiritual, total nihilist, but I see them all the time. However, I understand that I'm just crazy and sometimes have flashbacks from insane drug usage. If I do the Freddy Kruegar "Go away, I don't believe in you!" it usually works. I also occasionally use the Sixth Sense technique where you just talk to them, and it will sometime annoy ghosts away. I often get told "I'm sorry, but I would rather go to Hell than spend another minute listening to you."

To be fair, that's most likely an older, "respectable" picture of her. The news report I think said something along the lines of that it was an older picture but that she looked "exactly the same". She was probably much sexier in web-porn form.

I actually do, although in terms of supernatural things I've traditionally been more scared of extraterrestrials than ghosts. You and I are very similar in many aspects, but we differ on the way we approach things on the complete opposite ends of the spectrum- you're a nihilist, and I care entirely way too much. I actually had some difficulty sleeping last night and I think I woke up and started to do all kinds of weird shit to make sure I wasn't bothered.

 

The thing that's bothering me the most right now is for some reason they haven't said HOW she was murdered. They only said it was "homicidal violence". I would think so! I think that freaks me out the most because it wouldn't appear to be a simple murder in that case, like this was something that was all kinds of torturous and fucked up, and would haunt that second floor apartment forever. I've decided to try and not care, since honestly if my friend hadn't FREAKED the hell out about this and told me, I wouldn't have even known anything happened- no notices from management or anything.

I too see "ghost" all the time, but I am PRETTY sure that I might be a little bit insane and maybe psychotic. I usually just laugh at them and keep moving on. That pretty much works.

 

When I was writing this script one time about a loveable serial killer (which ended when I saw Dexter and was like "SHIT, there went my idea") the character was born on Halloween so his friends decided to throw a suprise halloween party where they wrote shit on the wall with fake blood and had a dummy with a knife in its back on the floor. They expected him to be all freaked out when he walked in but he just kept walking around like nothing was wrong in the room because that is what he would see from time to time (being psychotic and all).

Those are most certainly real. Age has made them sag some thus she has more pushup ability now, but those are definately hers.
