Some questions.

I was wondering if anyone can give me answers to the following questions that have been bugging me for a little while now:

1) Why when the Ultimate Warrior/Sgt. Slaughter held WWF Championship in 1990/1991 did it have a blue strap and when Hulk Hogan held it both before and after it had a black strap?

2) Does or did Roddy Piper have something against Ultimate Warrior? I ask because of all the sly comments he puts in about him at Summerslam 1990.

3) At Royal Rumble 1991 why did Randy Savage not come out during the Royal Rumble match?

1. No. Basically the WWF changed thebelt strap frequently with the Warrior as champ so it would somewhat match his face paint. I think they did it with the IC strap when the Warrior held that title too.

2. I dont think Piper had anything against the Warrior. He was pretty much a straight shooter as a commentator.

3. The reason Savage didnt come out was because we were supposed to assume that the Warrior caught up to Savage and beat him up after Savage cots the Warrior the title.

Hope I helped.

I always thought the warrior changed it himself on his own free will because the belts rarely matched his paint.

I don't remember the belts matching his facepaint really either.  It was just something his character did I think, just like Shawn Michaels did it with the IC title didn't he?

There was the infamous vomit belt...

I that something to do with the time that Warrior threw-up WWF TV? I've never seem it but I've heard it mentioned. As far as the belt strap I think that both the Warrior and Shawn Micheals had different colour straps but I don't know why?

I've always wondered about the Randy Savage no-show during the 1991 Royal Rumble match myself. Look closely when he's supposed to show up notice that someone (possibly Savage) steps halfway throught the curtain, only to walk back behind before the spotlight shines on him. It's easy to spot it if you look closely. The "Ultimate Warrior running Savage out of the building" explination given by the commentators made no sense at all. I've never heard of any official explination for Savage not entering.

Goldust painted the IC belt gold to match his character too.

1) Basically the Warrior was known as a pretty big dumbass at the time of his world title reign and was given oddly colored champiosnhip belts basically from the time he won the IC strap. Warrior had a neon green IC title belt at WM6 and could also be seen at one time or another with a red belt. When he won the world title it shifted to white, yellow, purple and occassionally black during his reign. The reason warrior had so many different title belts is because he was known as somewhat of a dimwit and lost multiple belts and gave away multiple belts as well. the WWF, wanting Warrior to actually have a belt for his defenses and not trusting in his own abaility to keep an eye on them, usually had at least one at the arena waiting for him.

The origin of the White Belt worn by HHH:

When Amhed Johnson took the belt from Goldust, he was still carrying around the gold leathered one, until his kidney injury put him out, forcing him to vacate the title. A tournament was held, and it was won by Marc Mero, and he was awarded a white leathered belt; which HHH captured months later. He eventually switched back to the standard black leather.
