Okay I'm 22, so maybe I'm just not cool anymore.  But there are a couple of terms that are used that I need explained to me.

Fan Boy - What the fuck does this mean?  I heard it on Mallrats.  Does it just pertain to comic book people or what?

Worst.  (Insert Thing Here).  Ever.  -  Okay I know WHAT this means, but what does it derive from?  Who or what was the originator of this phrase?

Fanboy: in general, any obsessive/hardcore fan of any entertainment medium, whether it be comics, movies, wrestling, whatever.  Also the nickname of a character in Kevin Smith's movies (Steve Dave's sidekick).

Worst. Episode. Ever.: a quote from the Comic Book Guy in The Simpsons when he was once bitching about the Itchy & Scratchy episode that Homer starred in.  Has been used since to make fun of nitpicking fanboys.

Comic Book Guy also said that in reference to a cardiac episode he once had. I think it's kind of geekish to use that quote, but people can say whatever they want.

Dr. Hibbert: "You just had a cardiac episode"

Comic Book Guy: "Worst. Episode. Ever"

Dr. HIbbert: Actually, If it wasn't for these boys I'd be wearing that watch...ha ha, I'm just kidding, but you would be dead

So the "Worst.  (Something).  Ever." thing was started by the Comic Book guy?  That's weird.  I'd seen him say it many many times, but I never thought he was the originator.

As long as they don't see me around.
