iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2007 Yeah, can't really blame him for celebrating this one. It's pretty once in a lifetime when that much of a perennial loser knocks off the #1 team in the country (at least according to the coaches/Harris polls). Bored 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2007 Well after plenty of CONTROVERSY~ the last couple of weeks, this time around we have a pretty uneventful reveal of the Top 10 beyond a new #1 for the third straight week but everyone knows who it will be. The only eyebrow raising will be that a one loss team still can't get back into the Top 10 and a couple of 3-3 teams are receiving "votes" while a couple of 4-2 teams are not. I do suppose though there will be some surprise over how close #1 and #2 are right now. 1. South Carolina - Cuban Linx 2.7 2. LSU - teke184 2.8 3. Miami of Ohio - Hawk 34 3.2 4. Oklahoma - Secret Agent 4.6 5. N.C. State - AboveAverage484 5.0 6. Texas - UTBroward 6.6 7. Syracuse - CanadianChris 6.7 8. Georgia Tech - iggymcfly 8.65 9. Florida State - King 8.9 10. Nebraska - Mecca 11.5 Other Receiving Votes: Hawaii (Fokai), Kent State (JHawk), Rutgers (the pinjockey), Temple (Ortonsault)
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2007 Hooray for being ranked again. Almost surprised I made it as few picks as I got right. Just glad someone can represent the Georgia Tech name proudly as the actual football team's been looking pretty ugly this year.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2007 I'm not the worst team in my conference. That's all I can hang my hat on right now.
