Back in the day it was harder to follow wrestler and now we get to know way more that we should. Primetime was still a wicked show but Raw was there to change wrestling television. WCW wouldnt have gotten as big without nitro so most ecw wrestlers wouldnt have left ecw. wwf would have eventually changed it but i doubt wcw would have started a weekly live show before the wwf did. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 perhaps ecw would have taken off more than they did and if they had secured a tv deal back in say 95, they could still have been fighting to this day. of course that is just me wishing ecw was back around and tommy wasn't drinking vomit. ECW probably would have had a national tv deal with fox sports to produce a primetime show because fox sports carried most of their shows. Dreamer really disgusts me now watching him then and now. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 but a feud with raven require a lot of airtime which the wwe probably isn't willing to provide. personally I wouldn't want to see raven and dreamer's main event feud from ecw, turned into a heat feud building to a 3 minutes match blowoff. a feud like that needs the proper setting and fans to go along with it and ecw was the perfect place i think. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 me too but it won't happen. i truly believe that with the exception of rvd, the wwe is refusing to do anything of importance with any old ecw guys. the dudley's don't count either since they were a tag team. they ecw crew is pretty well buried on every show and jr and the king get there little shots in at it too.
