I know this only happened like 4 years ago, but what do you people think of the casket match between HBK and The Undertaker at Royal Rumble 98? I picked up a copy of the show a few weeks ago, having not seen it since the days after the PPV and think it’s really underrated, probably because of the finish being too much like the 94 Undi’/Yokozuna casket match and the subsequent ‘death of the Undertaker’ angle. The actual match is excellent, with Michaels giving one of his last great performances (including a lovely moonsault from the top) and some amazing spots, especially the jumping tombstone piledriver from the apron into the casket. Any thoughts?

Up until the end, the match was quite good, but leave the screwing up to Kane and his 108087208 face/heel turn to tarnish the match

Nah, blah match compared to HIAC at Badd Blooddddddd. The ending was, er, *interesting* and pretty much shited on the spirit of the rest of the match. You can't convince people that two men are ripping the hell of each other, and then have one of the guy's seven foot younger brothers come in, lock them into a casket, and set them on fire.

I thought the match was good, but isn't as rememberedas their HIAC match at Badd Blood.

I think the Kane thing is cool and it proved that there had to be a trap door in the casket and on the floor,kind of cool.
