Duane Johnson is killed!

Padre outfielder Mike Darr was killed this morning in a car accident this morning, well he was killed along with a friend named Duane Johnson.  A 23 year old friend from Reno, ND who played in the Phillies chain and played some football at Fullterton College.

I wasn't on line all day but I wouldn't be surprised if the junk newsboards (you all know who I'm referring to) jumped on it thinking that it was Duane "Rocky "The Rock" Miavia" Johnson and rushing to be the first to exclaim that The Rock had died.

Well you'd figure if The Rock died, The Smarks and especially Meltzer would have headlines posted about it already. The Johnson that died along with the Padre's Mike Darr was Darr's friend "Duane" and The Rock's name is spelled "Dwayne". Funny coincidence, but only if you're a smark.
