Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted June 20, 2002 I just watched the Survivor Series Showdown special that was on USA to hype the Survivor Series 92 The one where the Main Event was brand new WWF Champ Bret Hart was fighting brand new I-C champ Shawn Michaels, and the whole feud was based on "Oh, I beat the Bulldog, and the Bulldog beat you... that means I can beat you to!".... Anyway, they had a squash match featuring the headshrinkers, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the man who would become Dancing Rikishi do a Superfly Splash off the top rope! Could you imagine in he tried that today?
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 remember his cage match with val venis from a pay per view back in 2000. he did the leap from the top of the cage and it was amazing. he did deliver quite a splash back in the day but hasn't been able to fly quite as well since putting on so much weight. Guest Drury37 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 The Headshrinkers were a good tag team from about 1992-1994 and I thought there match against High Energy at WWF Survivor Series 1992 was pretty good.I also liked the match that they had against the Steiner Brothers at WWF WrestleMania IX.Rikishi was pretty good when he was Fatu,he was actually smaller than Samu.I was suprised when I saw Fatu when he came back as Rikishi and he was so big. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 they were a good tag team but I didn't really buy into them as a face team. i liked the headshrinkers when they were savage heels managed only by afa. then capt. lou is thrown into the mix and they are a face team. i hated that. Guest Frankie Williams Report post Posted June 20, 2002 It still boggles me how over Rikishi was in 2000.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 look at the quality of matches he was having then. he usually put in a pretty good performance and had too cool with him to get over. running over austin pretty well ran over his career too.
Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted June 21, 2002 i thought Samu, not fatu, did all the diving.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 i'm pretty sure i've seen fatu do the dive, but i could be mistaken. maybe they both did it?

Guest Drury37 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 One of the craziest thing The Headshrinkers used to do was when they won a match they would like start biting there oponnets,am I the only who remembers that. Happy 800th Post to me!!! Thanks.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 21, 2002 Anyone else remember the dive Rikishi did off the stage onto Val on Raw once? It wasn't nearly as high as his cage dive, but he landed smack on the concrete with a loud THUD/SPLAT.
Guest JMTapes Report post Posted June 21, 2002 It was definitely Fatu doing the splash, and Samu was the smaller of the two. -JM www.jmtapes.com
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted June 21, 2002 The superfly cage splash is his only good contribution to wrestling, apart form THE FATASS JANNETTY OVERSELL OF DOOM~!
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 I know that Fatu did the splash but I think we was smaller than Samu. Thanks.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted June 23, 2002 Fatu was always that bit fatter. Unless yer tlaking about height, sami might have had an inch or so more. Seone (barbarian) who came in after samu was taller than fatu.
