Guest BigTim2002 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Da Meltz is reporting that Russo was brought in as Vince pushed the panic button, and that Vince could turn the product around quickly. Ummm.......... QUE? Are you kidding me? THAT is why he was brought in? It's horrible to think that he just HAD to bring Russo in, and could have trusted somebody who DIDN'T have a track record of ruining good storylines. By Monday, when the Russo era OFFICIALLY begins, the whole thing changes, and the Dead Pool will be officially on (IMO) for Royal Rumble, when the product gets so bad that nobody watches. Vince Russo, I offer you a challenge... MAKE ME EAT MY WORDS...

Not only that, but if McMahon lets Russo have enough control, there will also be even less wrestling than we get now in WWE. Until Russo can prove to me and anyone else here that he's changed his booking ways of writing old and bad storylines, emphasis on sports-entertainment, etc., then he'll just make WWE even worse than it already is. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted June 20, 2002 I don't think the WWE is going to get worse than 1995, and I doubt it'll get to the point where no one will watch because the smarks always say they wont watch, but we all "tune in next week" as Jim Ross says..... Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted June 20, 2002 As long as the piece of shit keeps himself off of tv like he did in the WWF years ago I might be able to live with it...if he puts himself in storylines I'll stop watching flat out.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Well it seemed like WCW was panicking when they brought Russo in, and look at them. (Of course, I wasn't much of an insider on WCW back in 1999, so I could be wrong.)
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 20, 2002 so does this mean that the Natural Born Thrillers will challange the nWo as the most annoying stable in WWEEEEEEEEEEEee
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted June 20, 2002 Vince's contract ran out and he went to WCW for the challenge.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 20, 2002 if russo can stay out of the storylines I think he might be able to turn this thing around. the wwe is going to be showing a lot more attitude shortly I bet and they will all be tactics we seen in 98 and 99 when the ratings went boom. Guest wolverine Report post Posted June 20, 2002 "Vince's contract ran out and he went to WCW for the challenge." Russo wasn't under contract, which is why he left.

Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted June 21, 2002 Russo wasn't under contract, which is why he left. i was always of the opinion that russo quit the wwf and wcw just so he could be head writer and have an on air role at the same time. i hope when raw begins on monday that no mention of russo is made and it is business as usual. if they do begin to mention him then he'll probably be around to annoy us in an on air role too.
