Basically, I'm trying to put together a list of every single way the Diamond Cutter has been done. Whether running, off the top rope or from a Fireman's carry, I know the list is huge. I'm trying to just put some sort of list together for ideas.

I was just watching an indie match where Mark Briscoe hit the diamond cutter while flipping out of a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Pretty cool spot as he did it all in one motion.

Phattest one I've seen was Nova vs. Little Guido. Nova has Guido up for a powerbomb, then he just pushed Guido's legs out and falls with him, hitting the Diamond Cutter. It got a "woah" out of the fans. I think Joey called it the Smash Mouth or some dumb name like that. Of course, I've never seen Nova or anyone use it again.

Might as well. I think DDP used it a few times in WCW as a Diamond Cutter variation.

I remember in wcw when Kidman came off the top with a double axe handle and Page caught him wiht the diamond cutter. That was a sweet spot.

if you can just get a tape from when Paige was wearing the taped up ribs and jeans from 97-99 in WCW that was when DDP did a different versian in ever match.

 

I remember these:

 

1) throw to ropes, opponet gets thrown straight up into air then.......BAM Diamond Cutter

 

2) from Fireman Carry, spin........Bam Diamond Cutter

 

3) Opponet sit on top rope then.....Bam Diamond Cutter

 

4) from the multiple pin spot of backslide, bridge up, tombstone set up, reversal into Diamond Cutter

Off the top rope somersault caught into Diamond/Stunner (like a Diamond Dust, but the opp isn't in the corner, then attacker dives off the top, flips over as he passes the opp and catches them with a Diamond Cutter/Stunner on the way down)

Diving Diamond Cutter Sucidia (Opp on Arpon, facing outwards, attacker in ring, runs dives over the ropes, catches the opps. head and pulls them off the arpon in a Diamond Cutter, needs table to go thorugh to soften fall)

The Inverted Neckbreaker was invented by Regal.

 

He "taught" it to Austin and Ace.

Ace started using it, and made it famous as the Ace Crusher, which all other versions are based off.

But Regal did the original move.

I remember this one like yesterday, and it never ceases to amaze me:

 

WCW Saturday Night, 1998-DDP puts Eddy in position for a powerbomb, gives the Diamond Cutter signal, hoists him up, spins him around, and bang. I've seen someone mention it somewhere else, so I'm glad I'm not the only one to ever see this.

 

I always thought it was kinda cool when DDP would reverse Christians reverse DDT into a cutter, too.

Yes, but it's very forced spot.

Because DDP had to be held far higher for the Inverted Reverse DDT than normal so he could grab Christians head.

It looked better when Christian counterd the Diamond Cutter into an Inverted Reverse DDT.
