Hey Marvin

To sorta get this back on topic..I find it awesome that Maryland is going to spend all this money on global warming and then cut the $50 million they had promised to use to clean up the bay cause it wont be enough.

It would take 100 years at $50 million a year to clean up the bay," said Sen. Paul Pinsky, D-Prince George's, who presented the spending plan that would direct all the money to a BayStat agency Gov. Martin O'Malley set up to coordinate Chesapeake restoration efforts.

Pinsky said scientists have put the cleanup tab at $5 billion, and that even the $50 million fund could be in danger as lawmakers look for up to $300 million in budget cuts this year.

Wah..it's gonna cost too much and take too long to clean up the bay! But lets spend 100x that to clean up the air that's not even really ours! Yes!

I'll be glad to see the fishing, boating and tourism industries completely die off due to the bay turning into a giant cesspool because Governor Omalley wants some clean air..Maybe Omalley will be unlucky enough to fall over into it and mutate into the Toxic Avenger or something.

Let's just not do anything at all!

that would make more sense than spending millions of dollars to achieve the end net result of the bay being worse than it was 10 years ago.

Which relates to CO2 and global warming on a national scale because we can spend billions of dollars every year to fight global warming and in the end its the earth's natural cooling and heating cycles were fighting, essentially a losing battle. The earth is going to warm and cool on its own whether we spend 5 trillion dollars or $.49.
