A document released by the Family Court in London on Monday said that a judge awarded Mills a lump sum of $33 million plus assets she currently holds worth $15.6 million Images: Top Celebrity Divorces Mills said that she is "very happy" with the settlement. Both Mills and McCartney were in court for the closed-door hearing. Some media reports suggested that the former Beatle had offered Mills about $50 million of his $1.6 billion fortune and that she was seeking at least double that amount. Divorce specialist Patricia Hollings estimated before the hearing that Mills could get as much as $100 million and the judge might give her more in exchange for keeping quiet about the marriage and divorce.
